“I got shot gun” Felix yelled as he ran to the car.
“I got machine gun”. The twins Devon and Kevin yelled as they raced off to the car. I giggled at their eagerness to go to school while Travis just rolled his eyes. These four boy’s are my brothers even though we don’t share the same DNA. Blood couldn’t make us any closer. There’s one thing we do share our mother Rosie Thompson.
We all have our reasons as to how we ended up in mama Rosie’s care. Felix was kicked out of his house at the age of 12 when he told his parents he was gay. Honestly how do you know your gay at the age of 12. Felix is 17, 5'9" and is Mexican. Devon and Kevin were homeless at the age of 9. I was the one who found them actually and brought them home. They are 14 , 5'6" and are Japanese. Travis comes from a really rich family. His mother is an alcoholic and his father is abusive. He’s the only one of us that has any blood related siblings, but he doesn’t talk to them. Mama Rosie found him when he was 7 covered in bruises, and immediately took him in. Travis is 18 years old, 6'5" and white. Me I’m not quite ready to tell you my story yet. Instead let me tell you about mama Rosie.
Mama Rosie is one of the nicest people you will ever meet in your life. I remember my first day with her.
I kept my head down I couldn’t look her in the eye. Little kids shouldn’t look grown ups in the eye its disrespectful. I was currently sitting across from her on her kitchen table chair. I jumped when she asked me a question.
“Hey kid what’s your name”? She asked.
I mumbled out a reply.
“Your gonna have to speak louder than that suger... and look at me when you talk to me”.
I looked up into blue eyes. She had flaming red hair and a really kind look to her.
“My name is Chanelle Haze ma’am”. I said a little bit louder.
“Well it’s a pleasure to meet you miss Chanelle would you like to tell me how you got that bruise on your eye”.
I shook my head no.
“Okay you don’t have to tell me”.
I was surprised that she didn’t press me for information. Adults didn’t take no from children, at least at my house they didn’t.
“Hey how would you like to stay with me”? She asked.
Was this lady serious. She doesn’t know a thing about me how do she know I’m not going to rob her blind.
‘He probably find me any way’
“Who’d find you Chanelle”?
I was surprised that I had voiced my thoughts out loud.
“Nobody”. I mumbled putting my head down.
“Hey look at me”. I looked up. “Give me your hands”. I placed my small hands in her larger ones. She looked me straight in the eye and said “ Your always safe with me”. I knew at that exact moment I was home.
As we pulled up to the school we noticed a group of boys outside.
“They have some fine boy’s here”. Felix said.
“Well they all look straight to me” Devon said.
“Yeah guess your out of luck Felix”. Kevin said.
“Please with my seduction skills they won’t be able to resist me”. Travis snorted at Felix’s comment.
We made our way up to the school with Felix switching the whole way, and of course the boys paying him no mind. He made it obvious what his sexual orientation is with the way he walked. As soon as we were in the whole way he let out a frustrated sigh and said “I gotta stop playin’ hard to get”. We all laughed and then everyone stopped when I let out a horrified gasp.
“I left my backpack in the car”. They all rolled there eyes at my forgetfulness.
“Take your time I’m not in a hurry to get to class” Travis said throwing me the keys.
As I was making my way down the hall I stopped when I heard Travis calling out to me.
“Chanelle grab mine to”. I shot him a look . He quickly added a please.
As I made my way back to the school I hated walking by people I didn’t know. I always feel as if there staring at me, so I kept my head down so I wouldn’t make eye contact. I heard some of the guys talking to their friend, his name was Kai. I don’t know what possessed me to look up, but when I did I was looking into stunning green eyes. This guy was completely gorgeous way out of my league. Then he tripped.
I heard a chorus of the classic “ooooooooooooh” behind me.
I quickly made my way to the guy to see if he was okay, after all it must hurt like hell to fall down stone steps. As he was turning over onto his back I knelt down beside him and asked if he was okay. There were so many emotions running through his eyes then the next thing you know I was on my back with him on top of me.
He was kissing me with so much passion and lust that I almost fainted. His hands were caressing every inch of me. My body was on fire from his touch and I felt... aroused. Just as quickly as he had pounced on me he was quickly pulled off. It took all of his friends to get him off me and I was slightly disappointed.
I didn’t know what was happening, I didn’t even realized my brothers were outside and that I was sitting up.
“Chanelle are you okay” Devon asked with worry. I couldn’t reply I was still in a daze.
“Maybe we should take her home”? Kevin asked Felix.
“I don’t know. What do you think Travis”? Felix asked. He couldn’t answer him he was to busy cussing out Kai.
“WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU JUMPIN’ ON HER LIKE A FUCKIN’ ANIMAL”. Travis yelled at Kai.
He didn’t answer him all his focus was on me. A shiver went down my spine when a vicious growl left his mouth. I wasn’t scared like I should have been no I was turned on. I was also confused as to why my body was acting this way it never did before so why now.
“Did he just growl” I heard the twins whisper.
“What’s gotten into you Kai”? One of his friends asked.
He didnt reply with words he let out another growl that sounded like a low rumble, but I swear I heard it just as clear as day. I heard one word do you know what that word was?

All of his friends looked shocked they just kept staring back and forth between us. That’s when I decided to look up and meet his gaze.
His eyes held so much hunger and raw lust that my breath came out in short gasps. The heat was back and it felt overwhelming. I wrapped my arms around myself and he lunged forward. Thats when my world turned black as I heard my name being called.
