"Aunt Stephie, why cant I just stay with you?"
"because they said that once they found your dad amd if he wanted you to stay with him then you have to"
"but I dont want to. I want to stay with you"
"I want you to stay to sweetheart"
"this sucks. besides, why does my dad want me now? he never came to get me when him and mum split"
"thats because your mum won custody over you. when you and your mum left Montreal when you were six, she didnt tell your dad. turns out that your dad has been looking for you since, besides I thought that you were excited"
"I am, I just....what if he is not excited to see me?"
"the way he sounded on the phone last night when I was talking to him when you were asleep, believe me, he's excited" she said and we pulled up infront of this nice big house
"aunt stephie"
"come on" she said and we got outta the car.
I was kinda excited/not excited. I didnt know how my dad would react when he saw me and I didnt know how I would react when I saw him. I have missed my dad ever since mum and I left Montreal when I was 6 years old. I havent seen my dad since then. their was even this one time when I was 14 years old, I saved up all my money so that I could buy a plane ticket to come see my dad but my mum found the money and used it for house payment instead.
"Kia, is that you?" said a man (Im guessing my dad) as he came outta the house
"its me"
"Oh Kia" he said and we threw our arms around eachother
"dad, I've missed you so much" I said and began to cry (tears of happiness)
"I've missed you to sweetheart"
"see Kia? I told you it wouldnt be so bad" said aunt Stephie
"Stephie, it is so good to see you again" said my dad and he and aunt stephie hugged
"its good to see you again Tyler"
"can we go inside?" I asked impatiently. I was excited and wanted to see inside and explore
"yes lets go in"
"I would come in, but I am so sorry I have to get back to Toronto"
"aunt stephie"
"Kia, I'm sorry sweety. I gotta get back before morning because Jordan leaves in 2 days"
"alright"
"thank you so much Stephie" said dad
"your welcome Tyler"
"aunt stephie?"
"yes Kia?"
"thanks"
"anytime sweetpea. call me whenever you want except for when I am at work cause I might not be able to answer"
"alright"
"you take good care of your daughter Tyler"
"I will stephie"
"bye"
"bye" said dad and I and aunt Stephie got back into the car and left.
"So?" said dad as we picked up my bags
