Chapter 1
The Heist
Ava’s POV
We made it to Ur’ban now all I need to do is get to the castle man I hope this works. She blended right in with the crowd of slaves going to the castle so she cast the spell and hoped it worked. Ava could always do magic. She was not the best but she have mastered casting spell that involved light so she could make her self invisible for a short period of time of course. While going into the castle she met a girl by the name of Katrina. Ok so your going to make us invisible so we can get the last dragon egg and take it to the Varden?” Katrina asked. “Yes exactly but we have to make our way to the back that way when we disappear we wont bump into anyone and no one will notice.” You both slowly made your way to the back. “I hate to ask but do you know the way to the vault where the egg is kept?” “Ya I do don’t worry ok now get ready on the count of three were going to disappear” 1, 2, 3. You grabbed Katrina’s hand and pulled her down a log hallway made a right turn and come to a stop in front of a vault. “How are we going to get in only the king or his family can get in there?” Katrina asked. “Well you see about that promise you won’t hate me?” “Ya I promise your helping me to escape.” Katrina replied. “Well i'm Galbatorix’s daughter and believe me it wasn’t by choice.” Katrina stood there dumb founded. “Are you really oh god.im sorry.” “:its fine now come on we have to get the egg and get outta here. You opened the vault dashed in grabbed the eggs but put a rock just about the same weight of the egg and dashed back out. You put the egg in your pack grabbed Katrina’s hand and ran. You got the the entry. There where gaurds everywhere. You couldn’t risk them hearing you so you entered Katrina’s mind. Katrina its me Ava. Ava how are you in my head? She questioned. Ill explain later right now the rock I put in the valt is going to explore meaning all the guards are going to go running, so when they do we have to dash out so stay close to me cause were going to be visible in about 40 secounds. “ok stick close I got it.” She replied. Suddenly there was an explostion. Just as you predicted all the guards went running you and Katrina ran out just as you became visible again. You ran all the way to the park where you had Coal ready to ride. You got on and help Katrina on. “Katrina hold by back and be carefull because it has the egg in it.” She didn’t say anything she just took the pack and held tight to you. You rode of straight out of Ur’ban and into the night.
Back in the Varden
Eragons POV
I decided to visit Roran before we left to I walked to our tent. I found him staring at the top of the tent. “Roran” I said. “ya.” He responded. As he turned to look at me. “I just thought I can say bye before Saphira and I leave.” “Eragon I thought you where gonna help me get Katrina back.” He said. “I am I’ll only be gone for two months and when I come back I’ll help you I promise.” With that said you walked away mounted Saphira and left for the elves.
