Today we sat across from each other
In lunch.
There were little words
Exchanged in the lunch line.
Are you emo?
I'm sorry,
As played out
And tired
As that question is,
I can't help but laugh.
Do you ask 'cus of my nail polish?
FYI: Black....
Like my soul,
Hehe.
Uh, yea.
I like the music.
And that's it.
I don't know why
I thought
More would be said,
Hunched over our hotdogs.
We just stole glances.
Yeah, I'm still watching you.
And?
When you mentioned her,
My heart dropped a little.
You know,
The one in my carved up chest,
Not the other one.
You shattered that with sound waves,
'Member?
And I don't know why,
I thought it would be the same
As it used to be.
It's awkward.
I hate awkward.
'Member?
In lunch.
