I remember the day I meet Brendon like it was yesterday. Even though it was 5 years ago. The house across the street from our was empty for a while. One day my best friend Kimmy her boyfriend Spencer and his bestfriend Ryan and I where sitting in my living room watching a movie. I was bored with the movie and bored with Ryan trying to hit on me. It wasn't that he wasn't hot. He was I just really wasn't into having a boyfriend. I looked at the window.
"Someone is moving into the house across the street" I said
"Really" Kimmy said as she jumped out of Spencer's lap to look out the window. Kimmy lived next door to me our parents had been friends since we where 3 years old, and we had been friends since than.
"We should go introduce our self" Kimmy said
"Do we have to its like 190 degrees out side" I said
Durning the summer in Las Vegas you learn to stay inside or be out in a pool otherwise you roast.
"Come on it looks like they have a son our age" Kimmy said
"Fine" I said in defeat
"We can invite him to come over to your house and go swimming Ryan and Spence you too are coming too." Kimmy said
"Fine lets go" Ryan said as he tried to put his arm around waist. I slipped away just before he could.
"I don't know why you just don't give in to Ryan he likes you" Kimmy said
"I don't like him like that" I said
We walked acrossed the street and that was the first time I saw Brendon he was kind of dorky looking.
"Hi" Kimmy said
"Hi" Brendon said back
"So you are moving in here" Spencer said
"Yeah you live across the street" he asked Spencer
"No my girlfriend Kimmy does and her best Rory lives next door to her." Spencer said
"Well I am Brendon Urie" he said
"I am Ryan and this is Rory" Ryan said
"Your girlfriend" Brendon asked Kind of disappointed
"No we are just friends" I said
"Yeah Ryan wishes" Spencer said
We all laughed
"Well we are all going to go swimming at Rory's house do you want to come" Kimmy asked
"Sure just let me go tell my mom" Brendon said
Brendon walked inside I watched him as he walked I felt something I had never felt before butterflies in my stomach. Brendon came back out and told us his mom said it would be fine if he came over. We all walked into my house and Kimmy and went upstairs to change into our swimsuits.
"So what do you think of him" I asked
"He seems nice"
"Hes cute" I said as I put on my two piece
"Hott"
"Him or my new suit which I am so glad I bought"
"The swimsuit"
We walked down stairs and all the boys where talking music. Ryan looked up.
"You are such a tease" he said as he picked me
"Ryan don't you dare" I screamed and with that he throw me into the pool.
Brendon walked over and reached his hand down. I grabbed it and yanked him into the pool with me
"That wasn't nice" He said I looked at him and smiled.
"I thought it was" I laughed
He came over very close to me and it made my heart skip a beat. I felt my face go red. He put his lips only inches from mine.
Kiss me Kiss me was going through my head. He splash me and swam away.
"You wanted him to kiss you huh" Kimmy said as she hung all over Spencer.
"No" I said
"Good" Ryan said
"Give up Ryan" I said
I guess Kimmy must have known because she suggest we play truth or dare remember we are only 15. We all agree to it.
"Ryan truth or dare" Kimmy says
"Dare"
"I dare you to kiss Rory" I shot her a look
Ryan leaned in and kissed my lips I pushed him back after a few seconds.
"Brendon Truth or Dare" Ryan said
"Dare" he said
"I dare you to kiss Kimmy" he said
"Spence is that cool" Kimmy asked
"It was a dare" he said
I was pissed and I had no reason to be pissed but when I saw Brendon kiss Kimmy something snapped. Which was weird because I just had meet the boy.
"Rory truth or dare" He said
"Huh oh um Dare"
"I dare you to come in the house with me for 10 minutes" He said
"Can he do that" Ryan asked
"He just did" Kimmy said
We grabbed our towels and walked into in the house.
"So" I said he smiled at me
"I wanted to get to know you everytime I got close you Ryan would be right there"
"Sorry about that"
"Its cool the guy likes you"
"Where did you move from" I asked
"Just across town"
"Oh, so I guess you have a girlfriend." I said
"No" he said I smiled
"You are very beautiful you know that"
"thanks"
"So I guess we should go back out" he said
"I guess" I said
We walked back outside Ryan was sitting on the steps bored and Spencer and Kimmy where making out
"AHHHH poor Ryan" I said
"They make me sick" He said
"Do they always do that" Brendon asked as we sat down on the step next to Ryan. We sat so close to each other our legs where touching.
"Yeah they do I really need to get a girlfriend hint hint Rory" Ryan said
"Not happening" I laughed
"Is this normal for you too" Brendon asked
"Yeah she won't date me" Ryan said
"Because you are just a friend" I said
Kimmy and Spencer swam over
"I've got to get home" Spencer said
"Me too" said Ryan
"I should be going to" Kimmy said
"Alright" I said
They all left leaving Brendon and I alone.
"When are your parents going to be home" Brendon asked
"Next week sometime" I said
"So do you mind if I hang out with you for a while"
"No I don't"
Brendon and I talked for hours about everything He leaned in and kissed my cheek.
"I should be going" He said
"Okay"
"Rory before I go can I ask you something"
"Yeah"
"Do you maybe want to be my girlfriend" he asked
"Yeah"
He kissed my lips very quickly and walked across the street to his house. I instantly put my fingers to my lips they where tingling.
