"I am still in shock" Patrick said
"I kind of am too" I said
"Lace what is it you don't remember" Patrick said
"Its not that I don't remember its the timeline and I can't figure out where things belong and some things seem so unreal" I said
"Lace the doctors told us most of your mood swings and stuff where from the tumor" Patrick said
"Can you explain some stuff to me" I said
"Of course baby" Patrick said
"Why do I remember us being together than us being a part" I said
"Baby you went off on Pete and I stood up for him, so you got pissed at me." Patrick said
"Oh and Gerard" I said
"I think it was more to hurt me but Pete punched you in the face" Patrick said
"Oh okay I really don't want to know anymore" I said
"Lace are you sure you remember" patrick said with a concern look on his face.
"Bits and Pieces" I said
"But you do remember us" Patrick said
"Your what I remember most" I said smiling at him.
"I love you so much" Patrick said
"I love you too" I said
We pulled up to a house. I knew this house it was Patricks.
"Babe" Patrick said
"Yeah" I said
He just smiled evilly at me.
"Your bad" I said
"Lace its been 6 months since I have gotten to kiss hold or make love to you" Patrick said kissing me as he unlocked the door we barley made it in the door before our clothes where off.
We where laying in the bed and I looked over at Patrick he smiled at me.
"So Lace when do you want to get married" Patrick said
"Next summer" I said
"That sounds great" Patrick said kissing me.
I smiled at him and turned cuddled up to him.
"Why did you wait" I said
"Lace I would have waited 6 years
I asked you out again so maybe I could get you to remember me or just fall in love with me all over again" Patrick said
"I love you" I said getting sleepy
"Night Baby" Patrick said putting his arms around me.
"MORNING" Pete yelled as he walked into the house.
"Go away" I yelled
"Lacie Patrick get dressed you have a doctors appointment" Pete said
We got dressed and left to go over to my parents house.
"Lacie" my mom said
"Do we have to go to the doctors I am fine" I said
"They want to do a cat scan" My mom said
"Joy" I said
"Baby I'll be right there with you" Patrick said
"Fine" I said
We drove to the doctors. I got into the cat scan machine. Once they where done the doctor came out.
"So I am free and clear" I said
He had a worried look on his face.
"Lacie I am so sorry the tumor is back" the doctor said
I started crying. Patrick pulled me into his arms.
"I don't want to forget you again" I said
"Dr.Richards what our next step with this" My mom asked
"We will go back in and remove it and than Chemo" He said
"And if I choose not to do this" I said
"You'll have 6 month to a year left" Dr.Richards said
"Your doing it" Patrick said
"I agree" Pete said
I smiled at both of them. I knew they wanted what was best for me but I knew if I had sugery there was a chance I lose my memory of all of them.
"Mom" I said
"Yes Lacie" she said
"I don't want to do any of it" I said
"Lacie" They all said crying
"I want to remember all of you" I said
"Lacie" Patrick said
"I love you" I said crying
"Baby please" Patrick said
"So I have the sugery get really sick from the chemo all to have it come back again" I said
"There is a huge chance of that Lacie" Dr. Richards said
"No thank you" I said
"Lacie at least think about it" Dr. Richards said
We left the doctors office. Everyone was pretty mad that I didn't want to have the sugery.
"Please don't be mad" I said
"Lacie if I have to drug you are having the sugery" Pete said
Patrick nodded in agreement.
"This is my decision mot any of yours" I said getting angery
"Lacie we all just want you around for a really long time" my mom said
I don't know why I was so okay with the fact that I was going to die.
"I think I always know I wasn't going to be here very long" I said
"Don't say that" Pete said
"Pete I love you, you are my brother but for me thats not easy" I said
"What about us and our life together" Patrick said
"We still have time to have that Patrick" I said
"No I want to grow old with you" Patrick said
"Life isn't in our control" I said
"Lacie if you don't have the surgery than I don't know if I can stick around and watch you die" Patrick said
"I second that" Pete said
I started crying looking at both of them.
"You think I want to die, you think I don't dreams, but I don't want to forget everything again I want to remember what little time I left" I screamed running out the car and to my room.
There was a knock on my door.
"Go away" I yelled
"Lace its Pete let me in" Pete said
I got up and unlocked the door.
"I am sorry" Pete said
"Its just hard to learn your little sister is dying and doesn't want to fight to stay alive" Pete said
"Pete its not that I don't want to fight, but you heard Dr.Richards it will come back again so what I get another year and than I die" I cried
"Lacie" Patrick said
I looked up at him his face was as tear stained as mine.
"I love you" I said
Pete and him both just held me.
"So what do you say we get married in a month" Patrick said
I looked at him with big eyes.
"You still want to marry me even though I am dying" I said
He started crying harder
"Thats what I thought" I said
"No Lace I do, I really do" Patrick said
"Patrick I don't know" I said
"Do it" Pete said
"Huh" I said
"Do it Lace" Pete said
Patrick looked at me with pleading eyes.
"Okay" I said
He smiled and kissed me
"Lacie" My dad came walking into my room he hugged me.
"Daddy" I said
He was crying.
"Daddy please don't cry" I said
"My little girl" He chocked out
"Peter" Patrick said
"I know and Dale and I are fine with that" my dad said hugging him.
"So looks like we have a wedding to plan" Patrick said
"Yep" I said not really sure why I was even bother to do this.
