I woke up in the hospital with Gerard holding my hand and cooing at me softly.
"Everything is okay now." I leaned up and felt pressure in my lower side, probably a broke rib.
"Where is my dad," I asked, laying back down and looking across the room for him.
"They took him to jail. He is getting charged with abuse. Frankie I'm so sorry." He leaned down and kissed me on the cheek.
"The police want to talk to me, question me." This scared me because of what they might find out. I mean Gerard is a 24 year old man and I'm only 13. If they found out we were having sex together we could both be in serious trouble.
"What- What if they find out," I said, looking into Gerard's beautiful hazel eyes.
"Well we have to do what we have to do. Maybe they won't find out and you might be able to-," he paused and cleared his throat.
"You might be able to come live with me." I smiled and rubbed his hand with my nail.
"I'd love to come live with you in your apartment. But what would people at school say, what about Mikey?" He smiled and stroked my forehead.
"Don't worry about him, he is going to be okay." Soon the doctor came in and took the bandage off my head. I suddenly felt lightheaded, like I was about to fall over.
"Mr. Iero, do you have someone you could stay with while you get better. We aren't allowing you to go home to your mother or father, in case he gets out of jail. Maybe a family member-,"
"Yes," I said stopping him right there.
"What about Mr. Way here. He is my teacher from school and he is very responsible." The doctor nodded and went to check with officials to make sure. I can't believe I am about to move in with Gerard Way. My love, my life, my everything.
