Hmm, have to wonder if the healing skin is an effect of the radiation on him, an effect of the phoenix tears in his blood, or some combination of the above; in any case, that's just one more oddity that comes from being Harry Potter. It would be amusing if, in the final battle, Tommy-boy tries for another connection with Harry and inadvertently provides a "ground" for all the residual gamma energy inside him. Anyone for deep-fried, from the inside out, Dork Lard?
You're doing a beautiful job of blending so far and I'm quite enjoying the ride.Incredible

Oh, all these angles. My head's spinning. Harry having a positive reaction due to the phoenix tears, his inner Harry-Potter-ness and the brand on his underwear, but the Dork Lard doesn't know this and treats it as a strengthening ritual, tries it, eventually going subatomic poof.
The dramatic influx of energy grounded itself through the scar, either deepfrying Voldie, or destroying his core.
Hmm. Going preudoscientific for a moment here. Gammarays has very high frequencies. Could these fast, energetic particles have sort of filled in the atomic gaps in the shield themselves, losing some of their energetic properties to the shield? That would make the effects on an exposed magical core very, very ...fic-worthy.
I'm staying transfixed by this one. Damn, this is fun.

You know, I've seen Harry as the Hulk before (Neville had an acciend in Potions with a rage-reducing concoction, you've probably read it) but the Hulk, aside from being created by potion reagents as opposed to gamma radiation, was otherwise entirely unmagical.
Now that I've had some time to ponder that, I realize how completely bonkers that is. The Hulk was Bruce Banner's anger made manifest. What do people, men predominantly, do when they're angry? They hit stuff. What does a Harry do when he gets angry? Ask his Aunt Marge, before she was obliviated, at least.
Magic plays a part, I'm sure of it. I'm just curious as to how.Incredible

So far so good. I like the explanation about Harry in the story but the question you posed at the end were mean. Now you have to update soon so they are answered. Good work.Incredible

Loved the Psis' reactions to peeking inside Harry's head!Author's response
- As I see the type of people who would join SHIELD, they really couldn't possibly have any other reaction.Incredible
