And honour gained
When to fight a child is called
And duty takes what once was loved

A spectre comes to aid
To teach the art of death
To show the sacrifice
To lead them all to glory

For only a fool is loved by war
And only a fool can hear the call
Only a fool can see what others deny
And watch the silent cry of life
