"You're breaking up with me already?"
Silence. I listened nervously for the voice on the other line.
"Yeah."
Ouch. Another stake through my heart. "Why?"
More silence. "I don't like emo girls."
"I'm not emo."
"Well you sure as hell look like it. And it's ugly."
He just ripped the god damn stake out and stabbed it back in. "Why the fuck did you go out with me then?"
"I don't know, Tessa said you liked me so..."
"So what, you thought I'd have sex with you?"
"Well, yeah."
I wasn't heartbroken anymore, I was furious. "Whatever asshole."

I slammed my phone against the wall. Stupid Mark. Stupid Tessa. Stupid me. What the fuck was I thinking? Love is just a fairy tale.
