!!!!!Chapter 19!!!!!
Two weeks have passed since Billy left to go touring with his bandmates. Hilary has also started attending college at UCLA. While Hilary was at college she ran into an old friend, Bryce and started hanging out with him while Billy’s gone.
Hilary met up with Bryce this morning so they could eat breakfast before going to class. They walked out of the restaurant and were bombarded with paparazzi. They were having a field day seeing Hilary with a man that wasn't Billy.
Hilary grabbed onto Bryce's arm as they made their way to Hilary's car trying to get through the paparazzi. They made it to Hilary's car and got in and made their way to college. They reached UCLA and parked getting out and heading towards the building. Hilary looked over at Bryce, “Sorry about that!” she said
Bryce looked over at Hilary smiling, “its okay. That was pretty interesting. I don't see how you and Billy can put up with that!”
“We got used to it I guess. I just hate it when we have Kandy because the paparazzi get violent and stuff and I always think Kandy's gonna get hurt” Hilary said smiling as they walked inside and down the hall
Bryce nodded,"yeah I can understand that. You don't want her to get hurt”
“Yeah you got that right” Hilary said stopping in front of a room, “I’ll see ya after class okay?” she said with a smile
“See ya Hil” he said walking down the hall.
((Meanwhile In Waldorf, Maryland))
The boys were now in Waldorf getting ready for tonight’s show. The boys were looking through the magazines that were on the table. They needed something to do. Benji opened up the People Magazine seeing Hilary in there. He read the article and looked up at billy, "hey Billy who's Bryce?” he asked
“Bryce?” he asked looking at Benji strangely
Benji nodded,”yeah you're fiancé is in here with some guy named Bryce.”
“What? Let me see that” Billy said getting up
Benji pushed him back down, “I’ll read this article to you.” he said as he looked at the article, “Hilary Mathers, Eminem's daughter and the fiancé of Billy Martin was spotted yesterday with a male that wasn't Billy. She has been spotted several places with this male that has been reported as Bryce Peterson. Friends close to Hilary say he’s just a friend. Is this mystery guy Bryce just a friend or is he Hilary's new lover while Billy is away touring with his band Good Charlotte? Time will tell.”
Billy rolled his eyes, "oh my god I hate media. They make everything sound so bad!”
“Yeah I know. I know Hilary wouldn't cheat on you. I mean she loves you more than anything... well besides Kandy.” Joel said flipping through his magazine.
“Exactly” Billy said sighing
Benji sighed looking through his magazine, "yeah you know how the media is. They feed off of other celebrities that are with other people besides their boyfriend/girlfriend. I bet in every magazine they have something about Hilary so called cheating on you”
“You spoke too soon” Joel said looking up from his magazine, “They have her in here too.”
Benji looked over at Billy, “so who is Bryce anyways?”
“He’s one of Hilary's friends that she used to hang out with. He’s in town so they're probably hanging out.” he said looking over at Benji, "I'd rather have her with Bryce than Alex”
Joel looked up from his magazine, “Billy you do know that she used to date Bryce? He's one of Hilary's ex boyfriends”
“Can this get any worse?” Billy said rubbing his face
“Yeah it actually could” Benji said looking over at Billy, “but I'm not gonna go there” he said going back to his magazine
Billy shook his head watching his friends
((Back In Los Angeles))
Hilary walked into her mother’s house with Kandy on her hip. She looked around not seeing her mom so she walked into the kitchen where her mom was baking cookies, "hey mom!”
Hilary's mom looked over at her daughter, "hey Hilary. How are you?” she asked walking towards Kandy, "hey baby!”
“I'm great. So is Kandy. I see you're baking yummy cookies!” Hilary said as her mother took Kandy out of her hands.
Kandy hugged her grandma smiling, “grandma! Can I have a cookie please?” she asked
“Of course darling” Hilary's mom said grabbing her a chocolate chip cookie and handing it to her.
Kandy took the cookie as Hilary's mom placed her on the floor, “Thanks grandma!” she said running out of the kitchen
Hilary's mom smiled watching Kandy exit out of the kitchen. She turned her attention back to her daughter, “so how’s Bryce? You two have been hanging out a lot lately”
“I haven't seen him in ages and it’s so nice to hang out with him. I mean I have nothing to do since Billy is gone touring so its fun to have someone to hang out with. Tiffany wont be back in town until tomorrow.” Hilary said grabbing a cookie and taking a bite out of it,”Mmmm!”
Hilary's mom smiled watching her,” Hilary doesn’t get too close to Bryce. You never know what could happen.”
“Mom I know. I only want friendship out of Bryce! Remember I'm engaged to Billy and I love him and I want to marry him!” Hilary said eating some more of her cookie, “I want a family with Billy. I want Kandy to have her daddy not some random guy! Plus I want another baby with him” she added looking over at her mom
“Another baby?” her mom said smiling, "that's wonderful”
Hilary nodded, “yes I want another baby. I've been trying but nothings happening! When I did get pregnant I ended up losing my baby because I was fucking stupid and decided to try to kill myself!” she yelled at herself
“Hilary darling please don't get all upset about it again.” her mother said taking more cookies out of the oven and placing them on the counter
Hilary set her cookie on the counter, “I know but do you have any idea how much guilt I have on me? I killed my unborn child and I freaking have nightmares about it at night and it just sucks! I almost gave my daughter up for adoption because I didn't think I could give her what she needed. My life is really fucked up. I don't see how Billy wants me after everything I've done” she said standing up
“Billy is with you because he loves you darling. No matter what you have done in the past he’s there and supports you” her mother said walking over to her
“Yeah he still does somehow. Anyways I have to go and clean our house Billy will be home in a couple days” Hilary said taking another cookie off the counter
“Do you need any help?” her mother asked
Hilary shook her head, “no I got it. I'll see you later mom. I love you bye” she said walking out of the kitchen. Hilary grabbed Kandy and made her way towards their home.
