If Wishes Were Hippogriffs

Very good section here. Loved the births, as the Myrtle's reminded me of mine and my wife's first, while Helena's happened pretty much the same as the second (Thank God). Enjoyed how things went with Hary and his Vipera there in Russia, and will be curious as to whether the Elder Wand works like Albus is thinking, or is he mistaken, and will that be a problem later on? Enjoyed the idea of using the Mark to call Tom and as always, enjoy how everyone is being proactive for once, rather than just sit and wait for Tom to make a move.Author's response
Thanx, I was a little concerned that, in trying to move the story along it might get a bit too contrived. I wanted to give the reader that part of the reason for the Cossacks lack of compassion stems from their origins; it is a very harsh land.
Small Spoiler here
Harry now has all three of the Deathly Hallows – that makes him master of death.
Small Problem here
Harry is still a Horcrux – how to get rid of it? I have a couple of ideas but could use more.

I for one enjoy your smutty chapters just as much as your plotty ones, and thus have enjoyed the last three very much indeed.
As to the Harry!Horcrux - I'm absolutely certain its removal will involve lots and lots of sex!
Keep up the great job.Author's response
Thanx, as always, for reading and reviewing. Smutty and Plotty? I think you have coined the names for the 8th and 9th Dwarves. . .
I do tend to write the kind of stuff I like to read, and this story is taking on a life of its own.
Now if I could just bring it to a satisfying climax. . .

Hello Professer, It is so good to see this type of chapter. It is easy to read and full of good adventure. Yes, of course, there is the implied sexual activity as indicated by the birth of two of Harry's children. Aboy first so that the name and heritage is consolidated and then ad daughter. What is next? So much fun packed into one chapter that is not long enough by far but OH so good to read I do enjoy this. Looking forward to next Sunday for your next post. CarolAuthor's response
Thank you, as always, for reading and taking the time to review. I admit that I do tend to research exotic locals and people to populate my stories and provide what I hope will be an interesting backdrop – of course, then I make my readers pay for my research by subjecting them to seemingly random factoids.
I’ll do my best to have the next chapter up by early 2009.
Oh, wait, that’s Thursday.
Saturday or Sunday would be more likely, though.
As far as additional sprogs? More than half the Coven is off the BC Potion, so we should see some results soon. . .
Neat Trivia
I never know, as I’m writing the story, whether the baby will be a boy or a girl until I flip a coin. Heads, it’s a boy.
I haven’t had a coin land on its side yet, but that would be interesting. . .

My son pointed out you story to me, and I agree, well worth the time it takes to read.
On your inquiry about how to get rid of Harry's Horcrux, I have some idea questions (uh, right):
The stone that calls up the dead, do the horcrux spit soul qualify (it was created by murdering someone)?
If the stone calls them up (including the one in Harry's head), would the sword "Fang" effect them, especially if he calls up venom first?
Second thought: throw the invisibility cloak over the spit spirit first.
Third thought: Death created the elder wand, could it effect undead, or split souls directly?
Anyway, thank you again for a very good read. I look forward to seeing where you go with this.
May the MUSE always be with you!!!

Thank you for reading and reviewing – your SON pointed out my story? Please tell me he’s of age, after all this is an exercise in smut. . .
Thank you also for your suggestions about using the resurrection stone to call up those murdered by Voldemort in the formation of his Horcruxes, kind of like what happened in GoF.
I wouldn’t have Harry attacking those spirits, as they’ve been through enough already, don’t cha’ think?
He DOES use the Elder Wand to release the Horcrux from Nagini in the next chapter, be looking for that, it is significant.

A double update! I couldn't ask for a better christmas gift. Now I do love your smutty chapters so I am going to ask will Glynda, Alicia and Padma have one on one sessions with Harry? And will the Tonks family show up for a visit maybe if Nymphadora sees Harry being all fatherly it will put ideas of Harry in her mind. But as for Bellatrix it seems like she has chosen a side even if it is un-official maybe Harry did reach her?Author's response
Thanx, glad you enjoyed my little Yuletide offering. I had a little time to write since I was away from my day job for a few days and never go anywhere without my trusty laptop. And Panera’s has free Wi-Fi, cool beans!
I am trying to keep a rotation going with all the girls but there are twenty-one, well, twenty-two now, and if I add Tonksy. . .
Harry had better stock up on his vitamin E.
Bellatrix, Pettigrew and Snape have abandoned Riddle, they will feature in later chapters – I hope to have a nice climactic herald to the end of the story soon, I’ve already gone a few more chapters than I’d intended.
Stay tuned!
