I lay on my bed while the sun is shinning through the curtains. I forget about the world and think of you, something I've been doing lately. Everyone says it's just puppy love, you'll get over it soon. Their wrong I never felt this way about someone, but I can't help but think what do you do to make me feel this way.

My life always haven't been easy for me, I've been hurt in so many ways I lost count. I trust people and in the end they show that trust is something you can't have in people anymore. And if things wasn't bad enough, I was so called in love before. I thought I had the man of my dreams nothing in the world could go wrong. In the end it turn out to be a bad break up that I thought I would never get over. But that all change when I met you.

I remember how we met, I was sitting in the park on a cold day. The clouds were gray it was rainy day, days like this I just sit and think. I was sitting there on the bench trying to think how to get through this, when you came over and sit down beside me. When I first look at you my heart stop, I didn't know what was going on but I knew I didn't won't that feeling to go away. You look at me with those hazel eyes and I knew right then I wanted to look at those eyes forever. You made me feel safe for once, something no one has ever made me feel. We talk for hours that's all I wanted to do I wanted to know everything about, you told me your name was Gerard. From that day I wanted to see you every day and I did.

I never forgot that day I could honesty say that was the best day ever for me. I walk away that day feeling good about myself that someone out there might care about me. We meet ever day since then until finally I told you how I felt, I knew you were going to run away or just yell at me saying how wrong it was but you didn't do any of that, you did something I thought never in a million years would happen, you kiss me.

I wonder ever now and then why did you want to be with me, of all people you made me feel happy and safe. It was like when I was with you I never got burn or hurt all. I knew I never wanted to let you go, something about you makes me who I'm today. As I lay in my bed I see your eyes wake up and you smile and I know that I'll never get burn when I'm with you.
