Holly whimpered softly at the pain in her mouth from where her jaw was getting accustomed to the new canines that had replaced the previously owned ones. She was confused, and oddly comforted by the slow circles William Beckett was rubbing on her back as they lay together on her bed. "How much longer will this hurt?" She questioned softly as she lifted her head from his shoulder, looking up at her owner.

Beckett didn't look at her as he continued to stare at the ceiling. "Maybe half a day or so," he answered, still looking upward. "The pain doesn't last long as it is, but females do tend to hold on to the pain a small time longer than males for some reason."

Holly nodded as she laid her head back down on the pale chest of the vampire she had to learn to call "Master." She was still emotionally hurting over the betrayal she hadn't expected from Ryan, but Beckett was trying to ease her pain and she couldn't understand why. She knew the stories of how he treated his pets, they were nothing to him, so why was he being so nice to her? Her thoughts were interrupted by the feeling of fingers slowly combing through her hair. Lifting her head, she gave Beckett a small, tentive smile before laying her head back down.

Beckett waited for her to lay her head back down before he rolled his eyes at the ceiling above. He hated having a female this close to him, it was driving him insane knowing there was something besides a cock resting between her legs. Luckily his insanity would get a break when an associate of his stopped by later that night. He would be the first one to give her potential a chance, and based off that Beckett would decide just how he was going to execute his plans.

Ryan stared at the black orbs belonging to a very pissed off Pete, the hostility and hatred rolling off of the other vampire in waves. They were barely ten feet away from each other with Gabe's hand holding Pete back from the younger male. Ryan regretted asking Gabe to bring Pete to meet with him and Brendon, because he had a sinking feeling in his gut that this confrontation wouldn't end well.

"Pete," Gabe's voice was calm, smooth as he spoke. "He just wants to talk to you, not fight. I think you should hear what he has to say." Gabe looked at Pete as he spoke, hoping he could calm the half-vampire before he could do something to end up hurt.

Pete turned his hostile gaze on Gabe, narrowing his eyes as his lip twitched, quivering slightly. "I have no interest in hearing what he has to say," he snapped, turning his gaze back to Ryan, who stood closer to Brendon, as if seeking some form of protection. "He works for Beckett."

"I want out!" Ryan exclaimed, cutting off Pete's possible oncoming tirade. "I haven't been able to stand being his pet for a while now. Please hear me out? You can leave after."

"I can leave now," Pete growled. "I do not want to hear whatever it is because you still have his mark. When you have a scar where it used to be, then I'll listen to what you have to say." Turning on his heels, he began walking away, stopping when Ryan called out to him.

"Gabe is breaking the bond for me tonight," Ryan called, his hope jumping slightly when Pete stopped. "As soon as that bond is broken I'll be cutting it off, getting rid of it. Please hear me out Pete...? I'm begging you. I know we've been enemies in the past, but please, Pete, hear what I need to say to you."

"I know that William himself is probably watching this conversation through your eyes right now, whore-" his words were cut off as he found himself suddenly pinned beneath a snarling Brendon. He tried to flip himself, tried to push the vampire off, but failed as Brendon pressed down harder. "Get off or die," he growled, looking up at Brendon's red eyes.

"He is not a whore," Brendon growled out. "And how do you plan to kill me when you can't even move?" Brendon questioned, his teeth bared. When Pete's head turned to the side, Brendon looked in the direction, glaring at the vampire he had never seen before. His gaze darkened when he saw the weapon aimed at him.

"I wasn't stupid enough to come alone," Pete said with a chuckle as Samoyed cocked the gun and flashed Brendon a toothy, murderous smile. "Not get off of me, or Ryan will have to watch you die; again."

Brendon moved off of Pete, instantly having Ryan at his side. He glared at Samoyed, and then turned his glare on Pete. "He won't have the mark much longer. When he does break the bond, we'll need a home. A fellow group of vampires would be best-"

"Not happening," Pete interrupted, shaking his head at the two. "No chance in-"

"But we have no other option. Neither of use would have any connection to William as soon as Ryan's bond is broken," Brendon argued, not about to give up when he promised Ryan he would try to find them the safest place possible for them to try to live.

"Your lack of choices is not my problem, seeing as we have, as Ryan said, been enemies in the past. I've lost count as to how many times I've fought against you," Pete said as he folded his arms over his chest, ignoring the soft sigh escaping from Gabe. "You can find your own home, your own safe place, just like I had to."

Ryan frowned, his brow creasing as he did so. "Please Pete," he begged quietly. "I hate him. I want revenge, and I know Brendon and I can't do it alone. I'll tell you anything you want to know as long as it leads to his destruction." Ryan looked down. "I hate him, not as much as you do, or for the same reasons, but I want him dead just as bad as you do. I'll do anything to help you make that happen."

"You can do that without staying with my friends and I," he said as he turned and began walking away again, Samoyed by his side, without any interruptions.

"Brendon was with him?" Deacon asked, confused as Pete filled him in on what Ryan had wanted. "Those two never got along before," he muttered as Joe snuggled his face into Deacon's shoulder.

"They were staying together from what I could tell," Pete said as Patrick rubbed his tense shoulder.

Andy, Sabine, and Samoyed were sitting on one couch, across from the love seat that was currently nest to Joe and Deacon, while Patrick stayed by Pete who refused to budge from near the door. Gabe had left to go back home to get ready to help Ryan break his bond with William. The ones remaining were sitting in the room that had unofficially been made into a make shift meeting room, talking about Pete's little encounter with Ryan and Brendon.

Deacon stared off into space as he tried to understand why Ryan and Brendon were traveling together since Ryan had yet to break his bond with Beckett. It was a very dangerous thing to do since Ryan could still be tracked down.

Patrick looked at Deacon, his brows coming together when he took notice of the worried, yet thoughtful look on Deacon’s face. “What are you thinking, Deac?” He questioned, causing everyone to look at the vampire in question.

Deacon looked up at the sound of his name, his unfocused eyes focusing on Patrick. “Pardon?” He had been so deep in thought that he had missed the question aimed at him.

“I asked what you were thinking,” Patrick replied.

“Where is Gabe doing the process on Ryan?” He asked, turning his gaze on Pete.

“At his home, why?” Pete replied, trying to figure out where Deacon was going with this.

“Ryan still has his bond with Beckett, until Gabe does the process. Beckett has seen and heard every moment of Ryan’s life sine he left the house, so he knows what is going to be happening tonight, and where. Even though William doesn’t love any of his pets, he is very selfish and possessive… Are we really sure he’s going to let Gabe fully take away one of his pets?”

“Normally I would worry, but if Ryan really has been pushed away like he claims then William won’t stop, or fight, Gabe to keep Ryan.”

“Unless William did this to see how loyal his business partner is,” Andy said as a thought began forming in his head due to what Deacon was saying. “Patrick, I think you should get a hold of Gabe.”
