Skyler was at her house now. Since yesterday had been her birthday and she was officially 18, the house was now hers. All the money and everything her dad owned was now hers. The police had helped her transfer all the money and everything under her name rather than her father’s. Along with her father’s will, there was a note.
It read:
“My dearest Sky,
Even though I probably haven’t been acting like it the past few years, I want you to know that I do love you with all my heart. Everything I own is going to you. There is an account that me and your mother had set up for when something like this happened. There is a fairly large amount of money to get you through the first few months alone. The two of us had saved it over the years, even after your mother died I was still putting money in it every month for you. You can use it however you please; for college, rent, anything you wish, just use it wisely
There is also something me and your mother should have told you a long time ago. When you were younger you were separated from your parents and put up for adoption. A couple of years ago we found out who your actual parents were and they don’t live too far from here. Your mom, me and your biological parents thought that it would be best not to tell you. Now that you are older, I thought you deserved to know the truth. Don’t hate any of us for this, at the time it was really what was best for everyone. You can go see them if you want to the contact information for them is written below. They also have a son, I believe you may know who he is, he is in a band that is quickly gaining popularity. His name is Joe Trohman and he is your biological brother. Again I am sincerely sorry that we never told you this before, I hope you understand.
Now that you know this, you can go see them if you want, I’m sure they would like that very much. Remember that I do and always will love you with all my heart.”
Skyler still couldn’t believe it each time she read the note (which was more times than she could count). She was shocked that she was adopted and a little upset no one ever told her, but she was even more shocked at who this note said was her brother. How could that even be true? There was no way she could be related to Joe of Fall Out Boy.
OMG! Whoa, didn’t see that coming did ya? Hmm… I’m wondering if I just ruined the story? Haha I sure hope not, I just got the idea for this the other day at school and I thought it would add a nice little twist to the story. Please tell me what you think of this new found information by reviewing! =]

Oh and I know this chapter is ridiculously short, but I felt that it didn’t need to be long, I promise the next ones will be a somewhat normal length.
And btw, who has played fobtrail? It love the messages they’re hilarious. Haha that’s my excuse for not doing my homework, so there might be longer waits between chapters, got to keep those grades up! =]
