A/N Hi guys. Well, this poem is kind of personal to me. It's about me leaving some of my best friends in P7 (the end of Primary School) and going to different schools that were a few miles apart. I hope you wnjoy it =)

Do You Remember Me?

Do you remember the day you first stared school?
Do you remember how you felt so grown up and cool?

Do you remember the first time the teacher yelled at you,
And how you wanted to stay off and pretend you had the flu?

Do you remember the first best friend you ever had?
Do you remember how you bragged to your mum and dad?

Do you remember how you used to laugh and play games,
And how you used to play tag and give each other nicknames?

Do you remember the first fight you both ever had?
How you cried to mum feeling so bitter and sad?

But didn’t you make up and say sorry afterwards?
And went back to being the best friends in the whole entire world

Do you remember just after the transfer test?
And how you both were upset and worried and stressed?

You were going to two schools that were miles apart
Can you still remember how it broke your heart?

Do you remember the day you left that school?
You both bawled like babies thinking “Life’s so cruel!”

It’s been four years now and you still think of her
And how everything was great back when you both were

Together and playing like it would never end
And isn’t that the meaning of being best friends?

I promise you that she is still thinking of you
And remembers all the good times that you both had to

She’s writing these words and just wants to say
That she misses you so much each and everyday
