[/An Average Teenager/}

Snarky, moody and paranoid
Feels like nothing can fill the void

Doesn’t think anyone sees them there
When their sitting in the back swinging on their chair

Some want to be cool, some want to be smart
Some like science and some like art

Some of them wear masks of orange and lip gloss
And walk around school thinking “I’m the boss!”

Others have ties proper and skirts at right length
And get picked on all day, like they have no strength

Sometimes their mature, sit like queens and kings
Others act like P5s pulling ties and things

Odd numbers of girls had better beware
For one’s left on her own fiddling with her hair

“The more friends the better!” the boys would say
But you know they’ll kill each other some day

One day you’re talking behind a girl’s back
The next thing’s it’s you getting verbally attacked

Insecure and selfish and no thought for another
Never obeys their father or mother

If this sounds like you, you’re in no danger
You’re just acting normal – you’re an average teenager
