Bill Cosby
went on one of those senile rants a few years back
saying how it’s disgusting that girls so young are getting knocked up,
[guess you can’t spell ‘country’ with out ‘cunt’]
she’s the one whose pregnant,
but you’re carrying just as much of the weight as her
you’re deciving,you’re irresponsible,
but that’s not the fault;
the fault is on all of us: thinking you were something more.

she told me, ‘whatever you do, don’t get involved with him.
two of my friends have already gotten hurt by him.’
i realize why i'm not.
but you’re about to hurt more than just girls, and some guy.
you are about to ruin a whole family.
you will leave her.
she will wipe the tears away just again,
—she’s used to that.
but she will also wipe those childs tears away—
which is something she’s not used to.

go away to beloved california,
sunsets, hollywood and beaches
but you’ll be homeless.
california is now an economic shithole, no one has the money to shelter for free—
and you’re not going to make enough waiting tables.

go get married,
put her through hell than leave
i honestly don’t think you can do much more damage than what
you’ve already done

you told me the reason why it couldn’t—
was because you were moving.
but that was a lie. That was such a lie.
you knew it couldn’t work out because even if you wanted to,
you already had this load to handle.
& you didn’t tell me, because you don’t trust me.
& that’s BULLSHIT.
fuckinggoddamnmotherfuckingbullshit.

every.time. i run into someone who knows her,
i ask if they know you and where you are.
but now,
she’s the one whose pregnant,
but you’re carrying just as much of the weight as her
you’re deciving,you’re irresponsible,
but that’s not the fault;
the fault is all of us: thinking you were something more.
