DISCLAIMER: I don't own Harry Potter, etc.; J.K Rowling and other people do. I don't own these songs either; I'm just making parodies of them.

A/N: With each chapter, I'm taking a song I know and twisting it into something funny for the Harry Potter universe. This is meant only to entertain anyone.

Chapter 1: Losing My Position

SUMMARY: The night after Voldemort returns to the Ministry, Cornelius Fudge is huddling in his office, worried about his future as Minister of Magic (or not!). What would he sing? (This is a parody of "Losing My Religion," by R.E.M.)

I am bigger I'm bigger than you
And you are not me
The lengths that I will go to
To make sure that power's mine
Oh no I've said too much
I set it up

That's me in the office
That's me in the spotlight
Losing my position
Trying to stay as Minister
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much
I haven't said enough
I thought that I heard Potter laughing
I thought that I heard Dumbledore sing
I think I thought I heard Dolores cry

Every whisper
Of every waking hour I'm
Holding press conferences
Trying to make and portray you
Like a hurt lost and blinded fool
Oh no I've said too much
I set it up

Consider this
The mistake of the century
Consider this
The goof that brought me
To my knees failed
What if all these fantasies
Come all crashing down
Now I've said too much
I thought that I heard Potter laughing
I thought that I heard Dumbledore sing
I think I thought I heard Dolores cry

But this has to be just a dream
This has to be just a dream

A/N: So, what did you think?
