Come Out and Play
0 reviewsA poem about drugs and how they effect lives of the people around you.
0Unrated
Addiction can only ruin your life,
no good comes from it.
It tore apart the one person who loved you,
the person you turned away from.
The little girl,
asking for her daddy to come out and play,
bit by bit
you killed her off.
She only I reached a hand out,
wishing her daddy would come out and play.
But he was never there,
bit by bit,
the little girl died into me.
Addiction can only ruin your life,
no good comes from it.
It showed the one person who thought loved you
who you really were.
If I had known,
I would have never asked daddy to come out and play.
no good comes from it.
It tore apart the one person who loved you,
the person you turned away from.
The little girl,
asking for her daddy to come out and play,
bit by bit
you killed her off.
She only I reached a hand out,
wishing her daddy would come out and play.
But he was never there,
bit by bit,
the little girl died into me.
Addiction can only ruin your life,
no good comes from it.
It showed the one person who thought loved you
who you really were.
If I had known,
I would have never asked daddy to come out and play.
