I've already read and reviewed on FFN, but I'm looking forward to reading this story again, here. I really like the way you start with a subtle divergence from canon and it builds on its one to dramatically diverge as events move along. It's too bad that their admissions to each other here didn't happen in canon, it would've made for a lot better last few books.Author's response
Hey, thanks for sticking with it on another site. The version here is a bit cleaner in the beginning. I edited chapter 1 and am working on doing the same for the next 15 or so too.

This one is up to 35 chapters at fanfiction.net, and now it's here, a Harry-gets-to-work H/Hr story with Granger/Marauder backup, insights into Wizarding society, and logical deviations from canon based on the premise. Hurry up with more chapters, AQ.Author's response
The posting here is a bit more edited for the beginning chapters. After Chapter 16 or so, it's the same on both sites.Dark Lord Rising

There are 35 chapters to this story? Wow, that's cool, I'll follow along from FicWad and hope for the best. Looking forward to the rest of the chapters.Dark Lord Rising

Nice start, but since I'm so enthralled, I think I'll check FF.net too.
This has a really sweet start. Harry must feel something for Hermione if he opened up to her like that. On the other hand, she must have some deep feelings for Harry to be so outraged and want to help.
Good job!Dark Lord Rising

I like it. Good opening, and a very good pace for a first chapter: diverge from cannon, explain the changing of ideals, and make the reader eager to read the next chapter as soon as it comes out. Starting the story before harry starts the tournament is definitely a different place to start, and i don't think i've read a story that started in that spot before (which is truly impressive, considering the massive amount of fanfiction out there). I'm definitely curious to see where this will go, and, while i'm tempted to go over to ff.net to read the rest of it, i think i'll wait for it over here. That being said, please update soon!:-)Author's response
Thank you for your review. I do try to make things interesting, as do most authors, in order to move the plot along.
I've posted everything up to date now so there is no difference. The earlier chapters are being edited and will be touched up here and there as I finish.
Cheers!
