  thanks for the quick update, and you are doing an interesting job with Snape in this story. I also liked the way that Harry put the old man on the spot. But what was up with Remus and the people he was meeting?

  Someone has read their Niccolo di Bernardo dei Machiavelli, or perhaps Bernardo read his Salazar Slytherin. Plots within plots, now we have the Mage Mafia in the mix. Yet another set of players to play against the others.

  Really excellent update, I was incredibly amused by your Dumbledore's pettiness. It's a side of him I hadn't seen done well before.

  Heh, it's going to get quite interesting as another party gets dealt in; I reckon the Magic Mafia should be something of a balance to both the Deeters and various overly-conservative portions of the Ministry. I rather suepct Remus is going to find some "interesting" things to do. I rather thought the bit with Snape and Dumbledore was quite interesting and I wonder if Severus is starting to realize just how much Potter has changed, given the Slytehrin tendencies he's now showing strong evidence of.

  sounds to me that snape will be better off if he were to take off! and remus if your so scared, why the hell are you in Britain?

  This was a satisfying chapter. What I like most about this story are all the interweaving competing plots that are going on.
  
  It will be interesting to see the fallout of Peter's capture once Voldemort realizes he's been caught.
  
  What I am looking forward to seeing are the plots Voldemort will put in play. At the moment, he seems to be stuck in neutral, but I don't see him remaining relatively passive for much longer. After hearing the false prophecy, he is bound to embark on a plan of action so it will be interesting to see what he does once he decides on a course of action.
