Great Grandma’s Wings
Great Grandma I wonder,
Where you keep your wings.
Do you keep them in your closet,
With all the rest of your things?
Do you put them away,
And use them at night?
Or do you give them to Great Granddad,
To polish up bright?
I know you have wings,
For this must be true.
‘Cause God always gives them,
To my guardian angels like you.
Great Grandma I wonder,
Where you keep your wings.
Do you keep them in your closet,
With all the rest of your things?
Do you put them away,
And use them at night?
Or do you give them to Great Granddad,
To polish up bright?
I know you have wings,
For this must be true.
‘Cause God always gives them,
To my guardian angels like you.
