I really enjoy this story. The best crossover story I've read on any of the harry potter fan fiction sites. I look forward to new chapters and check it daily for them. Keep up the wonderful writing and I hope you take the story beyond Harry killing Voldemort. I really like to see what his life in Starfleet would be like.Author's response
Have no fear, Harry's going to be in Starfleet for quite some time to come. Your going to see that his real fleet experiences begin in Chapter 16.The Wizard on the Edge of Forever

Very interesting! Voldie has some magic but not much. Shouldnt be too hard to finish him off once they get rid of the horocruxes.
Wonder how the goblins will react ;)
I too hope you continue this past Voldie, i'd love to see what happens when Harry meets the Borg(Q would be especially interesting if Harry gets more powerful with magic)and other races.
You could easily put Harry in any of the newer series.
Author's response
Oh there's a reason for Voldie having what magic he's got. The goblins, when they show up may surprise you. HTis will be continued for quite some time. I may have several sequels in the works, but that's a ways off.The Wizard on the Edge of Forever

I wonder if the goblin vautls are accessable via Phoenix? Or if not the vault itself, the goblin tunnels where there are likely to still be survivors. Of course, their reaction may not be favorable after all this time? On the other hand, how would the Federation react to finding out that there'a another sentient species on, or rather in, Earth? I can see all sorts of interestingpossibilities there.
I'm glad that Tommy-boy's not got near the power he had, that is going to make the final confrontation easier, but I reckon it's still going to get messy. i"m definitely looking forward to seeing where you take this.Author's response
Ahhh...I have a plan. Harry will be deailing with moldie-voldie eventually, just not right away. As for goblins and other sentient species that developed on Earth. They will show up...eventually.The Wizard on the Edge of Forever

Excellent to see the next chapter here, and to see that Fawkes and the Hat are still around, and also good to see that Voldemort is close to living his nightmare, something no one considers if they become immortal, but what if he'd been dropped in a volcano, or in the middle of the Pacific Trench, then he's be outta luck. Looking forward to the moment when Harry finds the last two horcruxes, and can put Tom out of his misery. Here's to he and Hui being able to tear around the universe for awhile, maybe with their companions, and the universe will expand that much more.Author's response
Hui and Harry are going to be going around the universe for a bit before its time to deal with Lord Mold-in-my-shorts. When the time comes, It may be a bit overused, but I have an idea that may be a bit different. The Wizard on the Edge of Forever

Fawkes can Fire-Flash Harry and his wife and the Sorting Hat to all kinds of Wizarding homes for information as well as Gringotts.
I hope Dobby's & Winky's childern and other Magical beings are around.

Just an odd thought, but if Harry introduces Fawkes to the Federation adn Starfleet, I can just see a paper on "The Warp-dynmaic Aspects of Phoneix Fire-flash Travel".Author's response
Just wait, That is happening in Chapter 15. I want you to imagine the conversation between Fawkes and the Vulcan Head of the scientific division of Starfleet in respects to logic and emotions or the Head of the Chaplains corps regarding mythology and religion. The Wizard on the Edge of Forever

Why didn't Harry use a repairo spell on some of the books. He forgets that he can use magic. Oh well maybe he will figure it out sooner or later.Author's response
I'm taking the position that the lack of magic being used is so they don't attract Voldemort's attention while in the castle. I also look at it along these lines, most of the books are beyond repair; quite literally rotted away to nothing or been eaten by pests over the years. My view on the Repario charm is you have to have something to start with, and unfortunately in the time that they had, they didn't find much. This doesn't mean that there isn't anything salvageable in the castle, it's just not in the Library. The Wizard on the Edge of Forever

I hope more of the library is salvagable; maybe Ravenclaw's common room and library had better wards -- if not, maybe the goblins will strike a deal to search out books in abandoned vaults.
Good chapter; enjoyed Fawkes and HatAuthor's response
It is possible. Remember they only did a short survey and grabbed what was immediately obvious as being salvageable. It is possible that On another expedition, they would do a more through survey as well as check out other parts of the castle. I cant really say what the goblins might do, that is for a much later chapter. The Wizard on the Edge of Forever
