I looked out the window and saw a gas station about a kilometre ahead. There where four busses, similar to our own, parked outside and I grinned. Two of those busses held bands that I had loved since they began and the other two held crew members who helped bring magic to thousands of kids a year
“Excited?” asked Mikey from beside me and I grinned
“More than you could ever imagine” I said and he smiled
“Your so lucky that you get a bus like this you first tour. We just had a crummy van for years” he said and I smiled
“I know, I've been in love with you guys since Bullets came out. I've seen Life On the Murder Scene countless times. It's all thanks to you five that Im even performing” I said and he smiled
“Well it's a pleasure to meet a fan who is getting somewhere in life because of us. I've heard of them but your the first I've met” he said and I grinned again
“It's a pleasure to meet my five heroes” I said and he laughed. The bus pulled up next to one of the busses and I saw Gabe Saporta talking to Ryan Ross outside one of the other busses. I sighed and laughed before climbing off the bus to meet them
“Annika!” cried Pete as soon a I was on the ground
“Geez, Pete, you sound like my mom” I laughed and he did too, Gabe waked up and hung his arm loosely around my shoulders, making me blush
“He is a bit of a mother” he smiled and I giggled, half because of the joke and half because omg Gabe Saporta had his arm around me!
“Well, guys, this is Gabe, Vicky, Alex, Nate, Ryland, Ryan, Brendon, Spencer, Jon, Joe, Andy, Patrick, William, Mike, Michael, Sisky, Butcher and... ME!” cried Pete and we all laughed
“Im Nik, this is Jack, Jasper, Felix and Zac” I introduced us all and they all said their greetings
“And Im Gerard, this is Bob, Ray, Frankie and my brother Mikey” Gerard said, coming and standing next to me. Everyone said their greetings and we all kinda stood there for a while
“So, which bus fits us all?” asked Gabe and Pete looked
“That one has two lounges” said Pete pointing at our bus “Would you guys mind terribly if we all hung on your bus till the next venue?” I shrugged and Gerard looked behind him where the others where also shrugging
“It's fine with me” said Frank and everyone agreed. All 28 of us piled into the bus and found a place and amazingly we all fit. I took a seat in between Gabe and Ryan, again giggling at my position
“So, Nik, right?” asked Gabe from next to me and I blushed
“Yeah” I said and he grinned
“So where are you from, tell me about yourself” he said and I racked my brains for something to tell him
“Well... Im from Washington state, and I was massively pissed off when 'Twilight' was set there” I said and he laughed “I've been singing since I was born and my favourite bands are on this bus so forgive me if Im very... Hyper. What about you?” I asked and he smiled
“I was born in Uruguay, I grew up in New Jersey. I have also been singing my whole life and... That's about it actually... Oh I speak Spanish fluently?” he said and I smiled
“I wish I could speak another language” I said and he raised his eyebrows
“I can teach you some Spanish if you like, Suarez can help too” he offered, gesturing at Alex and I grinned
“That would be awesome, thanks” I smiled and he did too
“I am not afraid to keep on living,

honey if you stay I'll be forgiven,
nothing you can say will stop me going home” my phone buzzed, Gerard's voice coming out of the shitty speakers on the back. I pulled it out of my pocket and looked up to see Frank smiling at me which made me blush yet again
“Hello?” I answered
“Hey Nik, where are you?” came Felix's voice from the other end of the line
“Uh... Im on the bus talking to Gabe, where are you?” I asked, getting worried. I looked up and couldn't see him anywhere near me
“Oh my god, your talking to Gabe Saporta?” he asked
“Yeah I am, where are you?” I asked and he let out a small laugh
“Im in the back lounge. I was just talking to Bob and Spencer and they think Im a really good drummer!!” he said and I let out my breath
“Dude, you scared me, I thought you where gonna tell me you'd been left behind or something” I laughed and he did too
“No Im here. But the real reason I called is because your mom called me, she asked for you” he said and I sighed
“Does she know where I am?” I asked and he paused
“... I don't think so... But Im not sure she's probably heard we're on tour” he said and I began to feel nervous
“Okay, thanks for telling me. Later” I said
“Later” he replied before hanging up
“You okay?” asked Gabe from beside me
“Yeah... it's just my mom is asking for me... I kinda blocked her number” I said and he raised his eyebrows
“Oh okay. Do I need to protect you?” he asked and I laughed
“I don't think so. She just wants me to be a school teacher or a doctor, but instead I got piercings and joined a rock band from New Jersey” I said and he frowned
“Your peeps don't like your choices?” he asked and I shook my head
“My brother does. He thought it was fantastic when I met those guys” I said gesturing to Zac who was standing a few meters away
“Yo Saporta” said William Beckett, coming to stand in front of us
“Hey, Nik right?” he asked and I nodded again blushing. Dude I never blush where is this all coming from?
“How are you?” he asked
“Pretty good” I answered “Yourself?”
“Im good” he said, turning to Gabe and grinning
“Pete wants to talk to you” he said and Gabe nodded
“It was nice talking to you, Nik” he smiled and I nodded and smiled too. They both walked away and I just sat there for a few minutes
“Hey Nik” said Ryan Ross, turning towards me
“Oh hey” I said and he smiled when he noticed I was blushing, again. I was seriously gonna be known as the girl who cannot stop blushing
“So I guess this is all kinda overwhelming for you right?” he asked and I nodded enthusiastically
“Just when Pete emailed me, saying he liked our stuff I, like, screamed” I said and he nodded
“Yeah, Brendon screamed too” smiled Ryan and I laughed
“Seriously, I can totally imagine that” I said and he grinned
“It's a hilarious image, right?” he asked and I laughed again
“Oh yeah!” I said, nodding “Hey can I just sound like a retarded fan for a minute and say 'Time To Dance', amazing song” I said quickly and he smiled
“Thank you, it's one of my favourites. I got the idea and some of the lyrics from a book” he said and I nodded
“Invisible Monsters, I know I've read it, like, twelve times” I said and he smiled
“Me too” we began to talk extensively about the psychosis of the characters and the setting while lines from the book, and his song, ran through my mind
“Hey doooooods” came a voice from in front of us. I looked up to see Brendon Urie standing there grinning
“Hey Bren” smiled Ryan
“Hey Brendon” I said, looking at him and smiling goofily, he sat down in Gabe's now vacant seat
“Your that Nik girl, right?” he asked and I nodded “So how'd you get yourself on this bus, Nik?” he asked, resting his chin on his fist, with his elbow perched on his knee. I laughed and he furrowed his brow, looking very interested in the lack of words I was saying
“Uh... Well one day I was sitting in my living room with my band mates and I got a phone call from non other than Pete and he asked me if I wanted to go on this tour and I said yes and here we are!” I said, he nodded and 'ooh'-ed and 'aaaah'-ed the whole way through, making me laugh
“How did you get yourselves on this bus, Brendon?” I asked and he grinned
“Well once upon a time, many... Uh... days ago my dear friend Ryan here got a phone call much similar to yours and we said 'Yes Pete, we shall play by your side until the day we die!'” he said, raising his arm like it was a sword. Ryan leant in
“Actually we just gave him a simple 'yes'” he said and I laughed
“Brendon's is more imaginative” I laughed and Brendon smiled goofily. We talked for a little while longer until they where called to talk to other people, leaving me alone, until none other than Frank Iero came to sit next to me
“Hey, do you prefer Nik or Annika?” he asked politely
“I don't really mind, but only my mom and Pete call me Annika” I laughed and he smiled his beautiful smile. I chewed on the stud on the left hand side of my lip and he smiled, chewing on his own lip ring
“So... You excited about tonight? I mean it's your first ever big concert, right?” he asked and I grinned
“Im so excited! But I suppose everyone will be there to see you or TAI, Cobra, Panic and FOB there won't be anyone there to see us play” I said and he shrugged
“I wouldn't be so sure of that. At our first concert in Spain there where kids wearing home made MCR shirts and shit like that. It was crazy. I've heard you guys play, I wouldn't be surprised if there was something similar” he said and I smiled
“Thanks so much” I said and he smiled
“You guys sound great, when's the album coming out?” he asked and I laughed
“We only have, like, six songs. Not really enough for an album” I said and he shrugged
“By the time this tour is over, you'll probably be ready for the studio” he said and I smiled
“I really hope so” I said and he smiled
“Im sure you will be. And Im sure it will be great” he said, still smiling. Just frank having that faith in us was enough to make me write a million songs... Most of which would be about him. We talked for hours about music we both liked and movies we loved, until the bus pulled up outside our first venue and I squealed with delight, before realising I had just squealed with delight and sat down feeling disgusted with myself. We all climbed off the bus and went inside to see where we where playing. The two crew busses had gone ahead so everything was already nearly set up by the time we got there. I looked around the vast space in awe. Sure I had performed quite a lot in my short life but never in a place this big!
“What you think?” asked Gabe from behind me
“Wow...” I breathed in awe and he laughed
'I've only played here once before, it's an amazing venue. It can fit up to 7,000 kids” he said and I looked at him in amazement
“Seven thousand? Dude... I've only ever played in front of... like... a hundred” I said and he smiled
“Well this is what your gonna be doing from now on” he smiled and laughed, looking around again
“Nika!!!” cried Brendon from behind me and I laughed, turning to see him running across the room towards us
“Hey Bren” I grinned and he smiled adorably
“Hey Nika did you hear that you guys are playing first?” he asked innocently and my eyes went wide
“What? How many are coming?” I asked and he thought for a minute
“Well there are gonna be fans for all of the bands so... Six thousand?” he said and my jaw dropped
“We're going first, in front of six thousand kids who have come to see bands other than us?” I asked and Gabe nodded
“Pretty much” he smiled and I gave him a pleading look
“Annika! The doors are opening in 3 hours. Then the kids will stand around for about half an hour so... You'll be on in about 3 and a half hours!” said Pete coming to stand with me. Jack, Felix, Zac and Jasper came to stand with me and Pete repeated the message
“Dude we better go practice!” said Felix.
