I smile “I have to agree”
He grins “Yay.”
We fall asleep tangled together by our limbs.
I wake up to my phone screaming in my pocket. It’s Andy.
“Hmm?” I say sleepily.
“Did he do it?”

“He chickened out?”

“Did he… ask you anything last night?”

“Then why didn’t you call to tell me?”
“I’m asleep! Plus it appears you already knew.”
He giggles “I’m getting ready to ski! So… if I die, you and Joe can split my shit with Mark.”
I laugh “You’ll be fine.”
“Probably… anyways congrats on the engagement man, love ya.”
“Congrats on the Marriage” I laugh “Love you bye.”
Joe stirs “I’m hungry.”
