Her lips are red

From afar,

I must say,

the smile shows for now.

she is mine!

she is mine!

she is mine!
I could have sworn,

I have heard a voice,

my lips are filled

with scars,

hiding the old wounds

of my reality.

the grim realities

from each bite that

I bite on my lips.
author note: came to me during my advance chemistry class...about my habit of chewing on my lips...and the first stanza is about the color of my lips from afar. please review...
