"Dad... dad.... wake up" Kourtney shook her dad.
"Huh?" He mumbled.
"They aren't here right now, so now is the chance to call the cops!"
"Where are your brothers?" He sat up.
"You told me to protect them, so I told them to leave next door and to call the cops"
"If they're next door, calling the cops then why did you telling me to call the cops!" He sighed and asked "When was this?"
"About 5 minutes ago"
"How long have I been passed out?" He rubbed the back of his head.
"I don't know, I'd say like more than 15 minutes."
A car pulled in.
Kourtney stood up and began panicking "Oh no"
"What?"
"Dad, I didn't want to tell you this but, whoever that guy is convinced mom to..." The front door opened.
"You" Jared snapped his finger's "Leave!"
She looked at her dad "No"
"No?" He pulled out a pistol "Did you say no?" He cocked the pistol
She began crying "Don't shoot him!" She wrapped her arms around Joe.
"LEAVE NOW OR I'LL SHOOT YOU!" Jared yelled.
Joe stood up "Why are you siding with him, Cyrinda?"
"Because I married him 16 years ago"
"NO YOU DIDN'T!" Kourtney sobbed.
"You're insane!" She snarled.
"MOM, THIS GUY BRAINWASHED YOU!" She yelled.
"Jared loves me!"
"DAD LOVES YOU! HE'D NEVER CHEAT ON YOU AND HE'S NEVER HIT YOU WITH A BELT OR CHOKED YOU LIKE JARED OR WHATEVER HIS NAME IS, HAS DONE TO YOU!"
"You're imagining things hun."
"BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!" Jared yelled. He walked towards Kourtney and grabbed her arm as he walked her up to her room. This was the perfect opportunity to snap Cyrinda out of it.
"Babe I love you, I didn't cheat on you. I'd never do that to you. I would never hurt you or do the horrible things Jared has done to you in the past!" He sighed after saying that.
She shook her head "I can't be-"
He moved in and kissed her. He pulled away and looked into her eyes "Babe please.... You married me, not him. He's lying."
Then he heard Kourtney scream in pain. Joe ran upstairs and ran in her room. He spun Jared around and punched him in the face "Don't hurt her!"
Jared fell to the ground and looked at Joe with a crazy look in his eye. Joe grabbed the gun Jared had.
"There's only one bullet le-"
Jared quickly got up and wrapped his hands around Joe's neck. He began kicking at Jared's shins but nothing was working. Joe dropped the pistol when his back hit the wall.
Jared laughed "Can't breath?"
Kourtney stood there, she had to think of what to do and it had to be quick. Then she remembered the gun Jared had hidden under her bed. It was a 12 gauge shotgun. She got down on her knees and reached under the bed. She searched for the shotgun. Kourtney felt something cold and hard hit her hand. She pulled it out and cocked the gun. Jared turned around.
"Put it down" Jared commanded.
"Nope!" A series of sirens rang outside.
"We have you surrounded! Come outside with your hands up!" A voice yelled outside on a bullhorn "Kourtney, come out!" Ashton yelled.
"Go!" Joe said.
"But-"
"Just go. I'll be there before you know it and before you leave, put the shotgun down"
"But-"
He gave her a "you better do it" look. She set the shotgun down and dashed from the room to outside.
"So it's just me and you" Jared smirked. They looked at the gun for a second and then looked back at each other. They both ran towards the shotgun...
