Gerard threw the ketchup bottle at Bob and then Bob threw it back, Then Gerard threw the mustard. Bob threw it back and Gerard ducked and it opened and splattered all over my vegetable lasagna. And I was eating it too! I mean really was kinda good and now its got fucking mustard all over it. So I flipped out a little and started yelling at them to cut the shit off already... Fuck I am never having lunch with my husband and my boyfriend again. I mumble under my breath as the waitress brings the check...

On the bus ride home I told Bob that I was just gonna suck it up and let them take my blood with an argh... needle... Honestly I wished they could use something bigger like a knife... I mean I rather they just fucking cut my arm open with a blade and let the blood just pour out then have to suck it out of a tiny hole with a argh..Needle... I told Gerard that to and he just looked at me like I'm nuts... Bob too... Well fuck them... I told them that to...this just encouraged them to bother me more though....

They decided to play the 'lets see what else Elle is afraid of' game the rest of the way home.

"So far we have heights over 10 stories high, uncontrolled darkness, um... needles..." Gerard's rattling off counting on his fingers while smiling at me.

"Its not so much the needle part, its more the syringe part." I try to explain.

"Okay then needle-y syringes." He laughs. "What else Bob?" He says leaning over to Bob in the seat across from us.

"Bears?" Bob suggests. Gerard laughs.

"Yeah that's right!" He cries out holding another finger up.

"I'm not afraid of bears!" I protest.

"You looked pretty scared that day!" Gerard laughs. I roll my eyes.

"You would be too." I said shaking my head at them as they laughed. I was so sure I saw a bear go by the window that day... so sure...

"Okay fine I'll take 'bear' away." Gerard says to me.

"How bout spiders?" Bob says. I shake my head no.

"Spiders don't bother me." I say proudly. This went on the whole bus ride home... Everything they asked I just denied... even if it wasn't true.

Bob said that when Lia called in the morning she told him she'd meet us at his house around 5 so he could tell her what happened... Thank god she called and woke him up to or we would've missed the appointment with Mr. Reefer totally. So now it's almost 5 and we're going in to Bobs house...

I've never been here before and I honestly didn't want to come in but Lia wasn't here yet... and it was starting to rain... I guess it was too warm for snow. Bob said for me and Gerard to come in and wait for her. I figure she'll bring my car and Gerard and I could leave once she gets here... Bob can drive her home later- or not. I don't really care.

We walk in and there's a short blonde lady in the kitchen. His mom I guess.

"Mom you know Gerard." He says and the woman nods. "And this" He says grabbing my arm and pulling me towards him. "Is my wife Elle." He laughs. I just stood there with my jaw open as Bob went on to tell her what happened. She didn't think it was funny. She was actually a little pissed until he told her that we went to see my papas attorney and he's gonna file some papers.

"I thought there was a waiting period before they just marry you." His mom said sighing.

"Um. They had a permit." I say looking down at my feet. Bobs mom just looked at me. "Uh you know cause they were trying to get in the record books the city uh... gave them a permit." I shrug.

"And that's legal?" she says throwing her hands in the air. I shrug again. "Oh Bobby." His mom sighs. "What am I gonna do with you?" She says smiling at him.. His mom was pretty cool... "Its times like these that I wish your father was here to smack some sense into you." She says hitting him with her dish towel. Bob laughed...

We went into the living room to wait for Lia. "And you were worried about meeting your in-laws." Gerard teased me as we sat.

Just then the doorbell rang and Bob got up and opened it. It was Lia and Ray? Ray was behind her? Fuck... What is she doing with Ray? Bringing him to Bobs house no less... after everything....

"Ray!" I said jumping up as he walked in.

"Elle!" he says back mimicking me.

"What were you doing here?" I babble. "I mean with her and him and you're here!"

"Calm down." Lia laughs. "This is why I didn't want to tell you." She whispers. I look at Ray and then at Bob. They're just standing next to each other. Like just standing there... like nothing! I look over at Gerard. He was running his hand in his hair again.

"We all talked." Lia said shaking her head at me. "And uh Ray and Bob and I are all going to be mature about it." Lia says and they nod.

"Mature?" I laugh. She nods.

"Well that's great for Bob and Ray but what are you gonna do?" I say to Lia and she punches my arm.

"I can be mature." She laughs.

"Look Elle." Ray says as I sit down on the couch next to Gerard. "Lia and I just weren't working out... its better this way." He says calmly.

I shrug. "Whatever." I say. I mean it's not my place to tell him shit. "You can be with who ever you want Ray- or no one at all, what ever makes you happy." I shrug again.

"Actually I'm with somebody already." Ray smiles.

"Who?" Gerard says and sits up a little.

"Sara." Ray smiles.

"Not Sara, Chrissys friend Sara!" I gasp.

"Well we all hung out on New Years and uh..." Ray shrugged a little. Fuck... no! I mean I had hoped that Frankie had had enough of little Miss Sunshine... Now they're multiplying!!! Like gremlins! Happy little gremlins with designer perfume and lip gloss...Fuck...

"Oh man Gee you should've seen Mikey!" Ray laughs.

"Yeah?" Gerard says leaning forward a little.

"He got so fucking wasted!" Ray laughs " and he puked in Chrissy purse!"

"Now that I would've liked to see!" I laugh. Fucking Chrissy and her purse... Damn I bet she was pissed...

"So Frankie's still with her?" Bob asks from across the room. Sounds like he was hoping Frankie ditched her too.

"Yeah." Ray sighed. "Were uh actually going out right now." Ray said nodding a little.

"Oh my Ray has a date!" Lia teases him. "You're just growing up so fast!" She giggles as Bob reaches his arms around her and kisses her neck. Ray looked away. Fuck Lia... And she's says that I'm stupid sometimes...

"well uh what are you doing here if you have a date?" I say as Ray looks over at me and Gerard on the couch.

"I was just dropping Lia off." Ray shrugs. "Oh and I wanted to congratulate the happy couple!" He laughs at me.

"She told you!" I exclaim. Ray nods and laughs.

He was saying something else to Gerard. I wasn't listening I was watching Lia and Bob. She was sitting in his lap kissing his neck... Right in front of Ray too! I mean I know they said they were gonna be mature and all but come on!! Wait until he's gone at least!! I mean Gerard didn't even want to touch me until he was sure that Frankie would've been okay with it... As ridiculous as the idea of me and Frankie together was... I know Bob wouldn't want to hurt Ray like that...So its gotta be... Lia....fuck...

Bob kinda tried to push her off but she whispered something in his ear that made him smile and she giggled. Then Ray left... It wasn't until after he was gone and Lia climbed off of Bobs lap that I realized what he had said.
"Lia did Ray drop you off here?" I say getting up and looking out the window.

"Uh yeah." She says.

"Where's my car?" I say looking out the window at the empty street.

"I parked it at your house like you said." Lia tells me very seriously.

"Well how am I suppose to get home?" I cry out. "How were you gonna get home!"

Fuck... Lia said she was gonna spend the night with Bob since Bobs mom was working nights now... Bob said I could take his car and drop Gerard off and bring it home, and that Gerard could pick him up before school tomorrow and he'll get his car back after...

"Fucking Lia! I swear she never thinks anything through" I say to Gerard as I pull Bobs car out of his driveway... I hate stick shifts too... We were halfway home when the rain really started coming down. I don't mind driving in the rain but once it started thundering and I saw lightning in the sky I freaked. I pulled into an empty supermarket parking lot and turned the car off.

"Uh what are you doing?" Gerard asked me as I shut the window... He was smoking a cigarette and had it open slightly, rain was splashing in a little.

"I'm closing the window." I tell him plainly.

"I mean why aren't we moving." He laughs opening it again.

"I saw some lightning." I say pushing the button and closing his window again.

"And?" He says looking over at me.

"And water and electricity don't mix" I reply looking out the window nervously.

"Are you afraid of the lightning?" Gerard laughs.

"Hey I got electrocuted once okay." I tell him loudly. "I am not getting electrocuted again!" I tell him jumping a little as the thunder claps loudly.

"You were struck by lightning?" He laughs. I make a face at him.

"No smart ass, it was a toaster." I tell him.

"Don't tell you stuck a fork in it!" he laughs putting his cigarette out in the ashtray.

"It was a spoon and I was 7." I tell him opening my purse up. My mom always told me not to stick my fork into the toaster to get the pop tart out. So I used a spoon. Hmmm, maybe that's why I don't like pop tarts... Gerard laughed and said something about Mikey being the same. I dug through my purse and found my compact. I pulled out a little baggie and started to dump some coke onto the mirror.

"Elle come on." Gerard grumbled a little.

"I just need to relax." I tell him. I was freaking out from the thunder...It was growing louder and the lightning was lighting up the whole sky every few seconds.

"Okay fine." He says and I do two lines and hand him the compact with the other two. I leant my head back and closed my eyes while it hit me... Soon the thunder sounds seemed like a faint rumbling... I could the tension in my neck subsiding. I felt Gerard's hand on my leg and I opened my eyes and leant over the stick shifter thing in between us and kissed him.

He dropped the compact and the bag of coke onto the floor and we started making out... He had his hand up my shirt and I was trying to undo his pants...I guess we were really into cause all of a sudden out of no where I heard a loud tapping on the drivers side window...Like really loud... It was raining and the windows were a little foggy. I reach over and pushed the button. The one that makes the window go down really fast. And that's when I noticed the red and blue lights flashing behind us... I tugged down on my shirt as the officer leant over and looked inside the car at me and Gerard.

"How's it going folks." He says not sounding very friendly. I pushed the hair from my face nervously looked over at Gerard and that's when I saw the bag of coke on the floor. Right next to Gerard's foot.

Fuck... we are so busted.... I looked over at officer who had his flashlight out and was shining it into the car.

I am so going to jail....
