Love's a Killer

Love dies hard in fragile hearts,
So simple a phrase as I love you can tear you apart,
So I cove my ears and close my eyes,
So I don't hear him whisper the lies,

Love is a killer, it spares no one,
Soon it will blind you, it is the light you will shun,
Juliet's burried deep below the mud,
And Romeo's hands are covered in blood,

Love will make you feel like drowning,
Your smile will fade, you'll soon be frowning,
'Cause love doesn't stick around too long,
No bonds I've had have been that strong,

So tonight, when my pillow's wet,
I'll think of the day that we first met,
And I'll cry harder than ever before,
And soon, I'll be bleeding on the floor
