  Yes and no. Mass downloading from ff.net is much easier since their uris are better structured.
  
  However, there are no rumors going around that ff.net is going offline that i've heard, so there'd be no point. Also, ff.net has better indexing and search functions than ficwad. ... the only thing I miss att ff.net is proper and timely alerts for updates and the ability to sort by reviewcount. (Incidently, I've coded my own apps for both of those scenarios.)

  Hmm...I missed this review the first time. Would it be possible for you to tell me how to get a copy of fanfiction.net's database or for you to put a torrent up of that? I know myself and a lot of my friends would love to have a copy of their archives (even if there is a lot of m/m slash...nasty). They have a lot of good stuff.

  How to go about getting fics from ff.net?
  The problem with leeching from ff.net is parsing out the story ids and corresponding number och chapters for each fic in the subset of fics you are intrested in downloading. (One would probably use a regex or two for that, similarily to what I did for this site.)

  Lol. My programming experience consists of 2 semesters of c++ in visual studio. Some of those terms you just used are over my head.

  Ok, my previous review had like, 25 more lines of text; but of course the parser for incoming reviews considers 'strip html' to mean remove tags instead of converting to < & >.. this is truly not the fora to discuss coding :b

  I've tried on two different computers now to do a google search on your yahoo group. It found it but when I tried to go to it my browser said forbidden. Would you know why this is?
