It's been past a week since Cyrinda told Joe the news. He won't talk to her and had
been giving her evil glares. When he glares, She
looks away. After she comes home from work, She'd take a shower and stay in her
room until the next day. She's depressed and all
because of those cruel words Joe said to her.
Don't ever talk to me ever again!
She's now positive the relationship they had, is broken. She's starting to change her
mind about having this baby. Maybe she should just throw herself off a
building and kill her myself and the baby. He'd probably be happy. No more Cyrinda.
"Why me?" She asked herself while in the middle of crying. She stood up and walked
towards an open window. She asked herself,
Should I jump out and end my misery? She made up her mind and decided not to.
She walked out of her room and walked to the
kitchen to get a glass of water. Joe was in the kitchen, drinking a beer. He gulped
down the rest of his beer and watched Cyrinda.
He leaned back into the counter and continued to watch her. She filled up the glass
with water and took a sip. She looked at him
and walked out of the kitchen and into her room. She closed the door behind her
and laid down on the bed. The door opened and
Joe stepped in. He closed the door and looked at her. They were the only two
people in the house. Elyssa had some job interview.
Joe had finally made her go and look for a job. Cyrinda looked at Joe and looked
away quickly.
"Can I ask you something?" Joe said.
She stayed quiet.
"I know I said for you not to talk to me ever again and I want to apologize for what
I said." Joe sat on the bed "Look at me"
She sighed and looked at him for a moment.
"Anyway, I'm sorry. I really am, I didn't mean to hurt you. I just freaked out, that's all.
I still love you and if you still want to have this
baby, then I'm okay with it!"
"Too late"
"What do you mean by 'Too Late'?"
"I'm getting an abortion"
Joe stood up "Your what?!"
She sat up "Go ahead, Call me names. I already know I'm worthless and stupid."
"You can't! This is our baby! You can't do this!"
"Well I am!"
The room became silent.
"Joe, I know people my age who had babies, and trust me, They are miserable. They were forced to get married, and some of them
are depressed because they can't go out and do the stuff they did before they had a baby." She sighed "Your probably excited to
be a father but do you really want to face the responsibilities? Do you want to pay child support?"
Joe stayed quiet and sat back down.
"Do you still love me?"
"I still do, I'm just really shocked right now. First you tell me your pregnant with my baby and now your getting an abortion. Wow."
"Then prove to me that you still love me"
Joe got closer to her and gave her a hug. Then he gave her a slow, passionate kiss.
"Your mine and don't forget that." He whispered in her ear "I love you."
She smiled at him and felt tears running down her cheek.
He smiled and wiped the tears off her.
"I love you too Joe" She tearfully said.
He felt his eyes water. A few tears ran down his cheek.
This moment to her was very heart warming and somewhat, romantic...
