2 Hours Later
Cyrinda's POV
I'm in my room getting ready to go to work. Elyssa's in the living oom watching tv and Joe is outside. He's really mad at me. He proposed to me and I pretty much rejcted his offer. I love him but I'm going through a divorce and I want to wait a while before I want to get engaged. When I said no, I tried to explain why but he ended up leaving. After he left, I grabbed my keys and went out of a drive, You know to think things out. I'm a month pregnant and the last thing I really want is drama. Wait did that come out right? Whatever, Anyway I just don't want any drama right now. I went out for a long drive and in the middle of the drive, I spotted a nice apartment. I talked to some people who had it for sale, rent... whatever. It costs about $400 a month. I told them I was interested and I would call them later that day. Then I left and drove back home.
Joe came back inside as soon I walked out of the room. He glared at me and sat down on the chair in the dinning room. I grabbed my keys and forgot my purse in my room. I walked back in and heard Elyssa arguing with Joe.
"I don't want to talk about it." I heard Joe say.
"Why not? I'm going to be your wife Joe, I should know everything you are doing!"
"Maybe because it's none of your business!"
"NONE OF MY BUSINESS?!" Elyssa began yelling "YOU BETTER TELL ME WHAT YOU DID WHILE I WAS GONE OR YOU ARE GOING TO GET IT!"
Poor Joe. She was so mean to him. I don't get why she's like that to him, He's a very nice guy.
"Just leave me alone!"
"NO! NOT UNTIL I FIND OUT WHAT YOU DID!"
"God damn it, Quit yelling! I can hear you perfectly fine!"
Then they stayed quiet. I knew what was going to happen next. These fights never end well. They never ended with a "I'm sorry babe. I love you. Let's go somewhere private for a little while" I have never heard that from them and I've been living here for almost two months. I walked out of my room and I was just about to tell them I'm leaving to work, when I saw Elyssa slap Joe.
He stood up and pushed the chair back. He looked very angry.
"God damn it Elyssa, It's over between us!" He said, almost yelling.
I wanted to walk out of the apartment, but my legs felt like they were glued to the ground.
"What?"
"I don't want to marry you anymore. All you ever do is fight with me and everybody else. All you do is spend my money. I know you're using me. I know you've been going behind my back and I can't take it anymore. I want a woman who loves me back."
"But I do love you"
"If you did, You wouldn't have been fucking around with other guys behind my back" He looked at me for a moment and looked back at her. I find that a little ironic. We've been seeing each other for about 8 months and he's yelling at Elyssa for cheating on him with other guys. How did he know she was messing around with other guys? The thing about Joe is, He's not fucking around with other girls. The only person he saw was me. We probbaly won't be anymore, you know after what happened earlier.
"Elyssa, get your stuff outta here. I don't want you living here anymore" Joe said, almost whispering.
She shook her head and looked like she wanted to cry. She put the ring Joe gave her, on the table and walked away.
Life is full of surprises.
