Oro stole the phone,

When Oro saw Cassandra's horrified expression, he listened to the voice,

"What? Orochimaru? is that you?"

It was Kabuto.
Cassandra suddenly yelled,

"Kabuto hel-"

Orochimaru hung up the phone, Cassandra tried to run, but Oro grabbed her by her hair.

"You lying bitch, well you know what happens to liars, don't you?"

Silence, then she could hear him crying over the phone,

"Oh... honey, I'm so sorry, I knew i should've suspected something when he was always there, I'm so sorry I didn't catch on.."

Cassandra closed her cell phone just as Oro yelled for her. When she arrived he smiled,

A voice behind him made him jump slightly, it was Kabuto, and he was holding a butcher's knife.

Oro sighed,

"Really? again? You always interrupt, just when the games getting good"

Kabuto's eyes narrowed,

"This is NOT a game! Those tears and screams were coming, not from some program, but a human being! My wife, Orochimaru!!"

Tears briefly blinded Kabuto's vision, but he blinked them away. Orochimaru smirked and started walking toward Kabuto. Cassandra firmed up on the gun.

"DON"T MOVE!!!"

They both looked at her with in surprise, never had they heard her sound like that, so menacing, so serious. Orochimaru smiled and walked towards her,

"You don't have the balls"

She smiled,

"It's true, I don't"

Oro saw in the mirror behind her, Kabuto throwing the knife in his hand.

"but Kabuto does."

It stabbed a vital area in the spine. He dropped immediately. Cassandra never liked to see anybody hurt, she rushed over and bent down to check to see if he wa still breathing, Kabuto smiled.

"Cassandra? I don't believe it, even after all he's done to you, you're still checking to see if he's okay. You're a saint."

She shrugged,

"Oh, Kabuto, you know me, I try to find the good in everybody."

Suddenly, Kabuto rushed over and retreated with her in his arms just as Orochimaru planted a knife he had hidden in the spot in the carpet, where Cassandra's foot was justs seconds before. She gulped.

"But being a saint in this situation is dangerous."

Kabuto said, while reaching for the gun Cassandra was holding, she winced.

"I know, Cassandra, but it has to happen, I must-"

Orochimaru started laughing.

"You would really kill me? You own brother?"

Kabuto aimed on the floor where Orochimaru lay, his face showing no emotion. When Oro saw no sign of him letting up, he sighed, closed his eyes, and a single tear fell on his cheek. Cassandra saw it, and closed her eyes.
Kabuto pulled back the safety, and put his index finger on the trigger. Oro looked up at him and said,

"Well, Kabuto, you are quite the actor, pretending you actually loved and cared about me as a brother, even saved my life a few times, but i now know it was all a lie.."

Kabuto flinched and, again, held back tears,

"You're one to talk about pretending, forcing my wife to do those horrible things for all these years, and as if her having it forever engraved in her memories, you videotape it?? but still, before i even met Cassandra, you were my brother, you're still my brother, and i really did love you, i still love you..."

Long silence, then he spoke again,

"But I love Cassandra more."

Kabuto pulled the trigger and the bullet went through one side of Orochimaru's head and out the other, through the floor, now splattered with blood, along with the wall behind him.
Cassandra shuddered and held back a scream and instead buried her head in to Kabuto's chest. He held her.

"Shh, it's okay, you were very brave today, you've been brave all these years... I'm sorry I'm never here for you, I'm going to get a job online so I never have to be away from you again, I blame myself for everything, I-"

She put a finger to his lips and smiled,

"The only one to blame is Orochimaru, we did nothing but what we thought was best for one another."

He smiled and kissed her.

"I'm sorry"

She looked confused,

"What for?"

"That i couldn't keep my promise."

"I understand, it had to be done."

Kabuto called the cops and told them the story of Orochimaru and what he's been doing and that all their actions were in self defense. Of course, their story was eventually confirmed when they checked his house and found all the tapes, plus they took his knife he left in the floor, assuming he was trying to kill them with it. The cops dealt with the scene for hours, they finally left around midnight.

Cassandra changed into her nightgown and rested her head, Kabuto was typing away at the computer, then he suddenly stopped and went over to the bed.

"Honey, I found a job, I start tomorrow, but, unlike before, I will be next to you when you wake up."

She was puzzled, then scoffed,

"Oh... Okay.. goodnight, then..."

Kabuto turned back,

"What's wrong?"

She blushed slightly,

"Well, I thought we could, you know..."

"What? Really? Even after all you've been through today?"

She turned away,

"Well, I love you, so naturally I'm going to trust you not to hurt me, but i guess if you don't want to, I'll-"
