Chapter Three- You guys are trully rock Gods. Thanks for all your support. It's no wonder MCR love their fans! Haha. This is really slow paced I realise, it's just building it up.
I also realise it's all over the place too, but I'm writing without thinking. I promise I'm not that much of a bad writer in real life. Haha :) xoxoxox
The mood did not change throughout the lesson. Eva walked out of class holding on to her bag tighter than ever. The moment Nick got out of class he couldn’t wait to stir things up. He told everyone in the school that Mr. Way was their new legal studies teacher. No one believed him until they finally had to, but there were questions being asked.
“What is he doing in Sydney Australia away from his music?” was the most asked question. Those in his classes only knew the answer, and they were best to ask. Apparently “Mr. Way” needed a break before he began his new album. A journey of “self discovery” as he would say. The further away the better, but not somewhere exotic, just like America only smaller and less troubling. He felt he needed to pursue the other avenues in his life. It was a much practiced answer.
When the question was asked what prompted him to make such a life changing decision away from everyone he didn’t give a straight answer only saying that things had taken a turn and that something inside him prompted him to come here.
“Why are you teaching Legal Studies? DO you even have a degree?” asked Eva. He turned to face her, paused then answered.
“And you are, Eva, I presume?” he said. Eva tried to look strong and unbreakable but inside her heart was melting and she felt so embarrassed.
“Yeah, I am...” she said. He didn’t clarify further. He had been told she was first in the class and could easily put a face to a name.
“When I studied Art at college, I undertook law as a double degree which allows me to work in this avenue. I am also helping out in the Art department as well as teaching this class until you guys finish your final year,” he said bluntly. He didn’t seem as friendly as he was perceived by many to be, but rather more mature and straight to the point like he didn’t have time to dream anymore- almost as if something had prompted him to turn this way. He was 32 with a baby- maybe that had changed him. However, the whole situation seemed strange, and people usually change when situations are different. It seemed as if he wasn’t the person he used to be, but rather grown up.
Eva nodded and mumbled something that sounded like ‘cool’.
“I really love teaching this topic because I absolutely love crime and mass murderers so I think we will have fun looking at a lot of cases and how the law is effective in serving justice over time...” he said a glimmer in his eye.
Yes, Eva could tell things were going to be different.

The day had finished early for the seniors and Eva was catching the bus home. Everything was a blur and Eva felt so depersonalised with the events that happened today. She couldn’t explain them because she knew it was so hard to believe.
Her parents were at work and didn’t come home till about 6, but Eva didn’t mind. She just tidied up as usual and cooked at about 5 so it would be ready in time for when her parents came home. Being an only child got lonely but her Mum and she were always close which made up for it. Her step-dad had come to be known as her official Dad since her mother and real father got divorced when Eva was two and he moved away to live in another country. Things were Ok, but sometimes Eva felt she couldn’t always be herself. She was always longing to be free. Her mind was everywhere.
When Eva’s mum came home from the gym, Eva just fell to the floor and cried.
“What’s wrong!?” said Eva’s Mum, Karen. “What did they say to you this time?” Her mother just assumed people at school had gotten to Eva again. Karen was so used to Eva crying all the time, she just didn’t know what to do with her daughter.
“Mum, Gerard Way is the new legal teacher at our school,” Eva said.
“Eva...” said Karen looking like she wanted to slap Eva out of it. “This isn’t one of your delusions again?”
“I swear on my life...” said Eva. After much explaining Karen started laughing.
“And you’re crying because?” Karen chuckled but still mystified.
“Cause it’s the weirdest thing that has ever happened,” said Eva beginning to laugh through her tears.
“It is weird, just don’t fail the class now cause you spend too much time goggling at him and not doing work,” said Karen.

The morning came quickly. Sleep never was enough these days. Her parents were just leaving out the door and Eva was to catch her bus in half an hour. She reluctantly got out of bed leaving the warmth behind and felt her heart take a leap. She had barely slept thinking about the events. I cannot stress enough how strange the situation was, almost as if everything had been set up to play a game on Eva.
Eva put on her school uniform tied her hair up in a very messy high bun and put on some eyeliner and mascara. Before walking out the door she put on her black coat because the weather was getting chilly and Eva was prone to getting a cold.
The air was cold and Eva couldn’t breathe because her anxiety was returning. When people began talking to her on the bus she wasn’t her usual crazy and friendly self, but rather a ghost who couldn’t talk.
As she waited for her second bus her closest “friend” Liza was waiting at the bus stop for her. Liza was arty and very sad. She had a lot of family issues and was very comfortable with being alone. Eva and her were a strange combination, but at the same time so similar because they saw the world in such different ways.
“I heard...” was the first thing that Liza said. It was the first time Liza has initiated any conversation. Most of the time it was usually Eva just rambling on about how shit everything was. Eva looked at her for the first time speechless.
“What the fuck....” said Eva pleading for an answer.
“I know...” said Liza. “You asked me what I woudl do if he came to our school all the time and I used to laugh. He is now my art teacher!”
“He is my Legal teacher!” Eva shrieked.
“Why did this happen?” said Liza.
“I don’t know Liza, maybe we’re fucked up and see it as something weird when in reality it was just some coincidence. If it happened to anyone else that idolised him they would be in the conversation too.” Said Eva franticly.
“You’re right... But still dude!” said Liza. “Fuck my life...”
Eva laughed.
“Oh wait!” she said and pushed Liza against the wall. “Don’t you dare tell him I love him. Act like I’m like...awesome.”
Liza glared then nodded.
"I love that coat by the way..." said Liza, and they turned and saw the bus pulling up.
