Sentient magical core?! Sorry, just too surreal to be entertaining.Author's response

Hmm, an interesting and different premise, I wonder what other interesting "items" will show up here. I rather suspect that certain parties (a manipulative headmaster and certain Weasleys) are going to be -very- unhappy at what's eventuated here.Author's response
yep, they will be, most certainly. The CoreMage Legion

I started reading this story merely because of the pairing. Even though JKR and the filmmakers felt it just appropriate to stress as often as possible that H would NEVER end up with HR, we - you and me and many others - know better, don't we???
Highly original thing, your version on the process of magical binding. Good detailing overall; it's the small things that give life to a story and animate the characters.
With regards to sentient cores, yes, it's somewhat "super-duper", but hey, it's AU! Why not? Hr always understood H from a half word, sometimes he didn't need to speak at all; they've always been on one wavelength (OK, except that effing book, now happy???) so she subconsciously knew how to help him.
I foresee a generous amount of Fumbledork- and Weasley-bashing coming our way. Let the fun begin!Author's response
oh yes we certainly do know better than that backstabbing multimillionaire hag.
I'm going to try not to make Harry and Hermione overly powerful, so that's not really a worry for anybody.
Yeah, Hermione did subconsciously know how to help him, but her conscious mind hadn't caught up and Harry's core had to explain before she got it.
And there will most certainly be a lot of bashing for Fumbledork and three Weasleys (well actually four) in particular, the banshee, the imbecile, the crazy fangirl and the smarmy prefect-type.
Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the review! oh and thanks also for that perfect catch of the point I'm trying to drive home in both of my stories: JKR you are a FOOL for letting the most perfect pairing of all time pass you by!
