FIRST TIME I SAW HIM
I remember the first time I laid eyes on Brendon .I had just moved to Vegas with my parents. My father got a big promotion and we had to relocate. Both my parents were super excited about the move. But not me it only made me angry. I loved everything about Seattle including the weather. Vegas was so hot and dry. I wasn’t even sure they had trees let alone big beautiful evergreens. The day we moved into our new house which was stunning by the way. I didn’t do anything. I sat on the porch playing with my shoelaces while my parents and the movers did all the work. The more I starting thinking the more my angry became depression. I didn’t know anyone and it was the middle of my senior year. As I sat there feeling sorry for myself I noticed four guys on our new neighbors porch. They were laughing and playing around looking like they were having fun. How I envied them. What really caught my eye was one of them was staring at me HARD! So I began making silly faces at him, and he did the same back. We kept going back and fourth until we realized everyone; his friends, my part rents, even the movers where watching our silly face war. We all just broke out laughing. And that is the story of the first time I laid eyes on Brendon.
