Deidara leaned back on his sit. He had a free period and he always hung out in the art room with Sasori, who also had a free period at that time. Sasori was organizing some papers and Deidara had been trying to get his attention all this time.
“Danna,” Deidara called.
“Yes?” Sasori answered without looking at him.
“I love you.”
“I love you too, brat.”
Deidara rolled his eyes. Sometimes he just wished Sasori would care enough to be nervous whenever he said that. “Danna, how was Naruto in your class?”
“He talked an awful lot with Sasuke, why?”
“Uchiha?!”
“What other Sasuke do you know?” Sasori asked, putting aside all the papers and looking at Deidara.
“Oh shit! That stupid kid! I told him to stay away from Sasuke,” Deidara said out loud. “I just knew that was going to happen.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” Sasori asked, looking a bit concerned.
“I just don’t want Naruto to get involved with Sasuke, yeah,” Deidara replied. “At first I just told him to be careful but now I know he absolutely can’t get near him.”
“Deidara, you have known that kid for less than a day,” Sasori pointed out. “Why the hell do care so much?”
Deidara’s cheek turned red. “I like the kid.”
Sasori rolled his eyes. “Well, according to what Sasuke said to me earlier, he likes you too.”
“He…” Deidara began to say, he pressed his hand against his forehead. “That idiot Uchiha.”
Sasori didn’t say anything.
“You know he’s just trying to mess with you, un,” Deidara said afterwards.
Sasori nodded. “Sasuke seems to be madly in love with you.”
Deidara exhaled. “Too bad I love someone else.”
A silence invaded the room. Deidara regretted saying that in that moment.
“I better get going, see you later danna.”

Naruto looked over at Sasuke who was busy writing something on a paper. He then looked at the teacher explaining something. Right now, he didn’t care about school. In fact, he had never really cared about it in the first place. For starters, he wanted Sasuke’s explanation about what happened with Sasori and why the hell had Sasuke involved him in that. Then, he wanted to be out of this place doing something less boring. Calculus was the last thing he wanted to think about right now.
“Naruto,” Sasuke whispered.
Sasuke handed him the piece of paper he was writing on. Naruto looked at it and read.
“I’m sorry for telling that to Sasori but I really want him to start noticing Deidara. I really want him to be happy. Also, I wanted to say once again that you have the most amazing blue eyes. I want you.”
Naruto exhaled and looked at Sasuke. Again with the blue eyes thing, he wondered why Sasuke was so into blue eyes and what made his different than Deidara’s. He folded the paper and placed it inside his notebook. So Sasuke wanted Deidara and Sasori to be a couple even though he likes Deidara. That’s very mature of him, Naruto was sure he wouldn’t do the same thing if he really liked someone.
--
Seeing Deidara’s face again was kind of a relief for Naruto. It’s not that he didn’t like the time he had spent with Sasuke, it’s just that he was too intense. Sasuke really wanted Naruto and it scared him that he might be tricked into something he doesn’t really want.
“How is your day so far?” Deidara asked as soon as he met up with Naruto.
“Alright I guess, Sasuke has been really nice,” he replied, trying to avoid Deidara glance. His roommate had told him not to mess with Sasuke and he had done the exact opposite.
Deidara looked at Sasuke, who was walking along Naruto and him. “Sure he wasn’t the cheeky brat he usually is?”
“Hey! Watch your mouth Deidara!!” Sasuke suddenly spat.
Deidara rolled his eyes. “I’m just saying the truth.”
Naruto looked at Deidara. Things were really complicated. Sasuke liked Deidara, Deidara likes Sasori and Sasori likes nobody. That seemed takes straight out of a movie. “What are we doing now?”
Deidara smiled. “I’ll introduce you to my friends.”
They walked outside of the building into an open field. In the end of this field, was a tree which was planted in a brick build platform that looked like a giant vase for the tree. Behind it was a bunch of bushes and then the parking lot. Deidara guided him to behind the tree.
Naruto looked at the people in front of him. The first one was Sasori, who smiled at him. “Okay so you know Sasori, yeah. Next to him is Kisame,” he said. Next to Sasori, stood an extremely tall man with blue hair and light blue eyes. “He is a senior and then that’s Kakuzu, a senior too, un.” Deidara referred to another tall guy with black hair, green eyes and dark skin, he was standing up a few inches away from Kisame. “That’s Hidan, he is with me in class,” Deidara continued. Hidan was tall as well, but not as tall as Kisame. He had platinum hair, dark eyes and Naruto found him very handsome. “And finally we have Itachi, who is also in class with me.”
Naruto shifted his view and looked at the man sitting in the corner. He hadn’t noticed him until now. Itachi turned his face to look at Naruto and the blonde almost dropped his jaw. He looked just like Sasuke, except his hair was lighter and his skin was darker, but his eyes were the same dark color. Itachi was just as breathtaking as Sasuke.
“Itachi is Sasuke’s older brother by the way,” Deidara added.
Naruto looked at Sasuke next to him and then at Itachi, indeed, they were brothers.
“Everyone, this is my new roommate, Naruto.”
Hidan laughed obnoxiously. “I’m jealous Deidara, why do you get such a cutie as a roommate?”
“Shut up, yeah,” Deidara said. “Naruto and I are going to get some drinks.”
Naruto wasn’t really sure of what was going on. He just wanted to look at Itachi, but then suddenly, Deidara grabbed his wrist and pulled him away from the group. “Where are we going?”
“We need to talk, yeah,” Deidara answered.
Both of them walked a little far away from the group, where there were some vending machines. “What’s up?”
“I thought I told you to be careful with Sasuke Uchiha, un,” Deidara immediately blurted out.
“I am being careful,” Naruto shot back. “I have rejected every insinuation he has made.”
Deidara smiled. “Yeah well, still.”
“What’s the big deal anyways?”
“Sasuke is crazy, that’s the big deal,” Deidara replied. “He thinks he can get whatever he wants and when he doesn’t, shit happens. I’m telling you this out of my experience, yeah.”
“Sasuke seemed to be really into you,” Naruto commented. “What the hell happened between you two?”
“I rather not talk about it.”
Naruto took a glance at Deidara. “Did Sasori catch you?”
Deidara exhaled. The kid was sharp. “What did you think about the guys?”
Changing the conversation, Naruto knew when not to push any further. “Alright I guess, don’t know much about them.”
“Kisame is a really nice guy, although sometimes he has a bit of a temper,” Deidara commented. “Kakuzu, well he is a greedy bastard, yeah. And for some odd reason, he is madly in love with Hidan. Hidan, he’s just crazy. He believes in a god named Jashin and has devoted his life to him. Hidan also takes advantage of how Kakuzu feels about him to get what he wants, yeah. But in the end, I think he really likes Kakuzu as well.”
Naruto looked at the guys Deidara was speaking of and then his view shifted to Itachi, sitting far from the rest looking at nothing in particular. “How about Sasuke’s brother, Itachi?”
“Itachi, he’s very silent and very cold, un. It’s not easy to talk to him, I know it took me some time to get him to talk, but he’s really something else once you get him to open up.”
Naruto’s eyes hadn’t moved from Itachi’s body. “Let's make a deal,” Naruto suddenly said.
“What is it?” Deidara asked, intrigued by the sudden burst.
“I’ll help you get Sasori to notice you as more than a friend, if you help me get Itachi,” Naruto mouthed with a smile.
Deidara narrowed his eyes. “You are interested in him, yeah?”
“Yeah,” Naruto answered.
“Fine, but I don’t know how you are going to help me with Sasori.”
Naruto smiled at this. “Trust me, I’ve done this before and Sasuke gave me a brilliant idea.”
Naruto grabbed Deidara’s wrist and pulled him to where his friends where. As they were getting closer, he wrapped his arm around Deidara’s and walked much closer to him. Deidara noticed this sudden closeness has attracted his friends’ attention, including of course, Sasori. Just when they were inches away, Naruto laughed and kissed his cheek. Deidara had never expected this, but Sasori reacted to it. Sasori looked away with a frown in his face.
“I told you,” Naruto whispered in his ear.

Rain, oh rain!
I generally like rain, but when it rains every freaking day to the point that I can’t see my friends, I get very irritated.
Anyways, I know things are going slow, but when it gets to where I want it to get, you’ll love it. Promised!
:D
“Danna,” Deidara called.
