Pure Friendship

by emerald-rei 3 reviews

A poetry written especially for my dear friend, Liza. It talks about the purest form of a friendship. Slight angst but mostly general.

Fate has brought us together,
It seems like two different people,
From the same world,
Meeting under the same circumstances...

Although we know each other only for a while,
It seem like we have known each other for a long time,
Like two missing jigsaws meeting together,
Fitting into the puzzle perfectly...

Do you know? I always hope to hear from you,
Not once I think you are disturbing,
Not once I think you are annoying,
Because I like those concerns of yours,
I like the voice of yours...

I wonder what God is thinking,
If only I can meet you earlier,
Then I won't be late to pull your hands out of the darkness,
And you won't have to suffer for years..

But it's okay now,
For I'm here, by your side,
If my smiles can make you happy,
I will give you all my smiles,
If my words can cherish your life,
I will say it again and again...

If you ever feel afraid of losing your friends,
I will tell you, I won't leave you,
Even if all people are not by your side,
I will be there, for eternity,
To support you, to comfort you...

Maybe I won't be able to help you,
But at least I want you to know,
You are not alone anymore,
At least I want you to know,
There will always be someone who loves you,
Who wants you to be happy,
For now, let me the be one...
To cherish your life~
