  A most intriguing beginning. I like the logical progression displayed from the changes in circumstance. The lack of a Ron to hold Harry's developement back, and the positive reinforcement towards academic endeavour looks to be leading to a very different Harry...
  
  I just wonder if this Harry will be able to answer one of the greatest mysteries of the Potterverse - What is Argus Filch's purpose?

  read this fic up to chapter 7 on ffnet quite a while ago..
  i loved it :D
  sadly i don't remember too much more than that after all this time and quite a few other fics in-between :P
  guess i'll start reading this again after you updated some more; so: keep up the good work please, so that i can go back to enjoying this already :D
  
  uni student in her final year and still has time to write fiction.. quite respactable that ^^

  I like a smart Harry and Harry not allowing orhers to control him.
  
  I hope Filius Flitwick will stop bragging about Harry and win his trust so Flitwick can become Harry's adviser.

  First time on this site and reviewing so I am glad it's a great story! Loving it, the way your Harry is studious and no mention of Ron, was/am a bit worried about the mention of Ginny at the station but hopeful that shes not in his picture...Looking forward to the development of his friendships and who he will turn to - hopefully Sirius and Remus will be around soon and Flitwick will be more useful that McG was.....! Can't wait for the update so please make it very soon!
