I caught the bus and traveled back to "The Music Building". During the whole ride back, I couldn't help but worry about everything the cashier had told me. First of all, I would have never guessed people still died during pregnancies! There were all kinds of hospitals around nowadays. It wasn't like the old days where people had their babies at home. I certainly wasn't going to end up dying if I had a kid...right? There must have been something wrong with Trisha.

I tried to dismiss these thoughts from my mind, but as soon as I shoved them away, even more disturbing thoughts came back to haunt me. Now I found myself worrying about what the woman had said about James. She had said that all guys were the same and that no guy would want to be a farther while he was still a teenager. In truth, that made a lot of sense. Teenagers weren't suppose to be parents. They were suppose to be out having fun, trying to get a job, and making their own way in life. That's exactly what James should be doing. He shouldn't have to deal with a pregnant girlfriend or child.

Was I doing the right thing by staying with James? Maybe I should be the one to break up with him so he could focus on the band and just be a normal teenager. I hated to think that I was preventing him from doing a lot of things he wanted to do because of the whole pregnancy mess. Sighing, I found that I had a headache now. All these awful thoughts were really taking their toll on me.

A few minutes later, the bus stopped and I exited it with a heavy heart. As I crossed the grass to the building, I couldn't help but wonder if the guys were still there or not. There was a good possibility that they had gone off somewhere else now. For all I knew, they could be anywhere. Deciding not to worry about that for now, I sneakily snuck across the lawn and silently entered the building. Hearing voices nearby, I quickly snuck down the hallway as quietly as I could and entered the storage room.

I shut the door silently behind me and looked around. Nobody was in the room. Shit. There wasn't any sign of life in this area or that the guys had even camped out here last night. Not sure what else to do, I crept across the room and looked into the corner where James and I had slept last night. There wasn't even a sign of my black bag where I kept all my stuff. This situation certainly wasn't looking good. Just when I started panicking, I saw a little white note scribbled on in the corner.

I picked up the note when I recognized James' handwriting and read it carefully. He said that the guys would be going to Johnny's house and would either be there or somewhere in this building recording when I returned. Feeling a little better, I decided I would go to Johnny's house first to see if the guys were there before I went around searching this building.

However, before I did any of that, I just wanted to get this pregnancy thing over with. I took out the pregnancy kit and read the directions carefully. Hoping that nobody was going to invade the storage room while I was doing this, I crept behind a large box where I couldn't be seen and followed the directions for the kit. After about five minutes, I finally completed the whole procedure and read the last few paragraphs on the box. It said that the results couldn't be determined until twelve hours later. That really sucked. I was going to have to wait until late tonight to find out the results from my test.

In the meantime though, I supposed I might as well try to find James and the rest of the guys. I was feeling scared and lonely right now and definitely didn't want to be alone. I hid the pregnancy kit behind a piece of foam and headed out of the room. I crossed the hallway and exited the building without being sighted. After that, I walked up the driveway to Johnny's house and stepped up to the doorway. Seeing a light inside the house, I figured that the guys were probably inside. I reached up and rang the doorbell, suddenly finding that I was in a hurry to find James. I felt so lost right now and I needed his arms around me.

Two seconds later, footsteps sounded and the door opened with a loud creak. Expecting to see Johnny, I smiled and started to speak, but I immediately cut off my sentence. The person standing in the doorway was certainly not Johnny. Actually, it was the last person I wanted to see. It was the dark haired woman who had kicked James and me out of the living room last night. Seeing her face again sent chills down my spine. I wasn't sure what to do exactly. Should I turn and run?

Before I had a chance to say or do anything, the woman spoke, and to my surprise, she had a smile on her face, "Hello there. I'm sorry about last night. I didn't expect a girl like you to be traveling with such a brash group of guys. I didn't mean to be so rude last night, I was just upset at the boys for raiding the liquor cabinet without asking our permission. You know those bottles of champagne? They were from Johnny's and my wedding. We were saving those bottles for forever."

In those few sentences, I learned a lot about this woman. Like I had figured, she was indeed Mrs. Zazula. I could also understand her frustration at the guys for raiding the liquor cabinet. What they had done had really been unacceptable. Feeling like I should apologize, I said, "I'm really sorry about that, Mrs. Zazula. I tried to stop the guys, but they're kind of unstoppable if you know what I mean. I'm also sorry for...um..." I trailed off. I meant to apologize for going to have sex with James on their living room floor, but now I realized that I couldn't exactly say that aloud. Instead, I finished lamely, "I'm sorry for the way we had to meet last night."

"Yes, me too," Mrs. Zazula nodded. "Oh well, what's done is done, right? Let's just start over. I'm sure we can be good friends if work at it. Want to come on in?" I nodded and thanked her as I stepped into the house I had been banished from last night. I immediately felt much more appreciative as I stepped inside the nice, warm living room. It was way nicer in here than in the storage room where we had stayed last night. I wondered if Mrs. Zazula would let us stay in the living room tonight.

Suddenly, I felt a nauseous feeling in the pit of my stomach. Food I had eaten over a day ago started to rise up into my throat. Remembering where the bathroom was from last night, I gave Mrs. Zazula an apologizing glance and said quickly, "Sorry about this, I'll be right back." With that said, I clapped a hand over my mouth and ran down the hallway towards the bathroom. Once I was in the bathroom, I flung my head over the toilet and puked up all my food from yesterday. My stomach twisted and churned painfully inside me even after I was done. I was left feeling weak, exhausted, and just plain sick.

Knowing that I couldn't stay in here too long without looking too suspicious, I decided it was probably time for me to leave the bathroom and go find Mrs. Zazula again. Not wanting to look in the mirror, I hurried down the hallway and found Mrs. Zazula just where I had left her earlier. When she say me, her face turned sympathetic and she asked in a motherly manner, "Are you okay, my dear? Is there anything I can do for you? If you're sick, I have some pills you can take."

I smiled at her, but shook my head, "Nah, I think I'm alright. Thanks for the offer though. Um, pardon my question, but are the guys in here? I really want to talk to them." Mrs. Zazula's eyebrows shot up at my question and she made a face. I could tell she definitely held a grudge against the boys for drinking her cherished wedding champagne.

"Why on earth would you want to talk to any of those guys?" Mrs. Zazula asked, wrinkling her nose. "Actually, why exactly are you traveling with them anyways? Are you related to one of them?" Shaking my head, I quickly explained, "Nah, I'm not related to any of them. I'm just traveling around with my boyfriend."

Mrs. Zazula's brow creased and she looked at me in a different way than before, "Wait, are you saying you left everything in your home to travel around with your boyfriend?" Since that was exactly what I had done, I had no choice but to nod my head. Mrs. Zazula looked even more surprised at this and she continued on, "No offense, but that's a pretty foolish decision. Those boys are wild and untamed. I highly doubt you'll keep your boyfriend for long. Please don't take that personally, but boys like that are not at all mature enough to have a proper relationship with a girl like you. I suggest you go back to your home before you end up with your heart broken. At least you'll have people who will never leave you back at your home."

In truth, I didn't have a home anywhere anymore. My old shack in Downey had been sold and I had no living relatives left. To me, James was family in a sense. Politely avoiding Mrs. Zazula's questions, I stated as firmly as I could, "I'm sure James won't leave me. He's more mature than he seems. Believe me, Mrs. Zazula, I can handle this."

Still looking suspicious, Mrs. Zazula asked, "Which one is James? He wasn't the blonde one who drank all the champagne, was he?" Shit! Why did James have had to be the one to drink all the champagne? Feeling kind of guilty, I said, "Um, yeah, he's blonde. But regardless, do you know where the guys are now?"

Mrs. Zazula looked like she had a lot more to say about James and his bad drinking habits, but fortunately she shut up and told me where the guys were instead, "They're out in The Music Building. That's where they're doing their recordings for their new album or whatever. So if you're looking for them, I'd head over there if I were you."

I thanked her and started towards the door before I had a sudden thought. Turning around, I asked Mrs. Zazula, "Um...do you mind if we stay in the living room tonight? I swear the guys won't get into your stuff again." Mrs. Zazula quickly shook her head, dismissing my hope in one easy gesture. She added, "I don't want the boys in this house, but you're more than welcome to sleep here if you want. As a matter of fact, I have a guest bedroom you can use if you want."

"Thanks, but I think I'll stay with the guys," I said as I headed out the door. The offer of the guest bedroom was very tempting. However, I could never sleep well unless James was around. Even if we weren't having sex, I still liked him by my side while I slept. He always was able to comfort me in a way that no one else could.

I stepped outside and headed across the lawn towards The Music Building for probably the fifth or sixth time today. As before, I walked into the building without any hindrance and started searching around in an attempt to find the band members. I was looking down a hallway when a voice behind me made me jump a mile in the air, "Hey there. Are you looking for someone?"

I spun around to see a guy smiling at me politely. Trying to regain my confidence, I nodded, "Actually, I am. I heard that the members from Metallica were recording here today. Do you know where I could find them?" The guy nodded and responded, "Yeah, they're on the second floor. However, they can't be interrupted right now. Why don't you just wait here until they're done? I'd say the recording process still has another four hours to go or so."

Four hours? My heart nearly stopped beating. I was so anxious to see James and now I had to wait a whole fucking four hours. The time was going to go by so slowly.
