Chapter Five.

I found Gerard in the bunk room. He had already discarded his wet jacket and was stuggling with his damp black t-shirt.
"Here, Gerard " I said softly and pulled the dark material over his head and off. I handed it to him and looked into his eyes.
"Gee, what's wrong? " His only reply was to look at the floor and sniff sadly. Seeing him like this broke my heart. I put my hands on his shoulders and gently pushed him to sit on the nearest bottom bunk; Bob's.

"Gee? " I sat next to him and put one arm around him. He picked at Bob's TMNT comforter, staring intently at it.
"Gerard, talk to me. " He looked into my eyes and I could see the hurt in his. A single silent tear made it's way down his cheek. I wiped it away with my thumb. Suddenly, without any warning, Gerard leaned in and softly kissed me. My heart skipped a beat.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry Frank! I didn't mean it! Shit, I shouldn't have done that! " He burst out crying.
"Shhh Gee... " I said soothingly. Then I added, "are you sure?"
"A-am I s-sure about w-what? "
"Are you sure you didn't mean it? "
"Frankie, I know this isn't what you want. "
"You're wrong. " I stated simply.
"W-what? " I didn't say anything else. I just leaned in and captured his lips in another kiss. He pulled back after a few moments of pure bliss and looked at me.
"I love you Gee. I always have and I always will. " I said tenderly, smiling at me. A grin broke across his face.
"I love you too Frankie. " I kissed him again.
