Very nicely done and the confrontation with Dumbledore should be most interesting indeed. I wonder if McGonagall has even an inkling of all that's going on under ths surface between the Headmaster and Harry (or, rather, Harry & Hermione, since things have developed strongly that way). It was a most excellent birthday for Harry with lots of useful presents. I thought it was fairly mature of both Ron & Harry to trade positions like that and to be able to sell the exchange to McGonagall. Methinks things are going to get right 'interesting' if that meeting does not go well.No More Mysteries

Well thought out. Would have been nice to have it come to some sort of conclusion.
All in all, one of the better stories I have read, even without an ending.
