Trapped. Like an animal in a cage, tormented endlessly by those who feed off our missery.
Cant live the life we were destined for, brought down and shoved on the ground.
The flag at the finish line, the one that says "Its over, it'll all be ok now" slowly fades away as the fog thickens.
Losing your way, lost, alone, afraid and cold. All the things that haunt you in the fog, the never dying fog.
Oh how many lives it has taken, lost souls that wonder endlessly, no way to escape as the thick barriers of screams take them in their grasp and begin the whole lifeless torment over and over again.
What next?
Am I to become one of the damned?
Just another soul fed to the hungry beast that dwells within.
I have a choice, I escape the unescapable, or carry on a pointless game.
Life never makes any sence untill you meet death, death that greets you with a warm hug, takes you in and becomes your only most treasured friend.
