Best friends are always there for each other, what happens when your best friend is Gerard Way....

Emily Black was not your normal twenty four year old women, her black hair and bright green eyes made her stand out, but the thing that really made her stand out were the fact that she was Gerard Way’s best friend.
Ever since they were childhood friends, Gerard and Emily were always together; Gerard’s mum Donna always made Emily knew what Gerard was doing while he was playing with the guys on tour as Emily had moved interstate to study for her business degree.
They were so close that both Donna and Emily’s mum Sarah thought that one day they would get married, but shortly after that thought, Gerard and the guys got a contract for their band and we shifted away to LA to live their dreams, not only breaking Emily’s heart but also Gerard’s.
On a cool autumns day Emily was walking into her classroom her mind somewhere else besides the work she had to do and accidently bumped into something hard which made her fall down.
“Ohhh I am so sorry” he said softly, Emily looked up and smiled as her long dark hair fell down around her waist, the guy smiled back he held out his hand which Emily took as he helped her up.
“I’m sorry but I was looking for someone” he said, Emily looked into his eyes, Emily nodded
“Well I can help you if you like” she said as she fixed up her bag on her shoulder, He smiled
“I am looking for Emily Black” he said, Emily laughed as he looked at her weirdly
“Then you have found her, that would be me” she said with a smile still on her face. The man stopped smiling and looked at her directly into her eye’s
“I’m sorry to say that Mikey is desperately looking for you” he said softly, Emily looked at him shocked about who he was talking about.
“Mikey???” she said in an almost whispered way, the guy nodded
“I am Jack, one of the assistants for my chemical romance” he continued, Emily nodded as she felt a wave of sickness rising to her throat, he looked at her and frowned
“You better come with me and let Mikey tell you what’s going on, You should pack for winter as its mighty cold where we are going” he said, Emily snapped out of her trance and looked up at him,
“You expect me to leave my collage and go to where ever we are going, just so Mikey can talk to me” she said anger rising in her voice which made his eyes open wide in surprise, He nodded calmly, Almost too calmly
“Gerard is not well, Mikey needs your help” he said softly, Emily froze as he mentioned Gerard’s name, not knowing if he was okay made her feel like she was going to be sick all over again
“I just spoke to his mother, she told me he was fine, they all were fine” she barely whispered back to Jack, Jack nodded
“ one thing I have learnt in this world that everything is not what it seems” he said, Emily gave him a half smile and nodded to herself rather that what Jack was saying, she took a deep breath and looked into his eyes
“Where are they?” she asked softly, Jack looked back at her
“England, they are doing the circuit around England before heading around Europe” he said, Emily closed her eyes as she knew this was getting a bit much, Jack touched her hand softly,
“We do not have much time, we need to get your things and get out of here as soon as possible” he said as he glanced at his watch, Emily nodded as she led him to her dorm room, slowly packing everything she thought she would need for a freezing country and looked up at Jack as he grabbed her luggage, Emily took one last breath and closed her room.
Jack was in business mode as they walked out of Emily’s school, not saying a word as they both climbed into the black SUV waiting for them as it took Emily away from her safe haven and into the darkness of the unknown.
As they boarded the airplane, Emily suddenly felt her nerves kick in as she remembered that in a about six hours she would be seeing everyone again, come to think of it, she hasn’t spoken to Gerard for three years which make her nerves go into over drive as she buckled her seatbelt and closed her eyes as the plane gently took off with the destination of England.
England + Gerard = not good, not good at all.
