Jack woke Emily up as they softly landed on the strip; Emily looked at him and took a deep breath

“What’s wrong with Gerard?” She asked,
Jack shrugged his shoulders, as they both stood up
“ He seems normal to me, but Mikey sounded so frantic when he sent me to you, something about him not sleeping and something about you being involved will help” he said,

Emily nodded as they walked to the baggage claim, Emily looked around to see if even Mikey would be there, but it was just full of people waiting for their loved ones, Emily and Jack grabbed their suitcases and made their way outside, Emily smiling as the doors opened and saw the snow gently falling around them, Jack motioned her to another black SUV and helped her into the car, Emily feeling jet lagged closed her eyes as the car weaved in and out of traffic to their destination.

Emily only woke up when she heard a car door being opened, Jack smiled at her as they both climbed out and walked into the hotel, Emily couldn’t speak as the hotel was beautiful, she imagined that it would could a lot of money to be staying her, Jack pressed the button on the elevator as they waited,

“Does Gerard know I am coming?” she asked,

Jack shook his head as the doors opened and they walked in
Jack quickly pressed a button on the wall and the lift was suddenly flying up rather quickly, Emily took a deepen breath as the doors open, Emily followed Jack until they reached the room, he slid the card in the door and opened the door

“Here is your room, the boys are at a sound check, they shouldn’t be much longer” he said, Emily nodded

“Thank you for everything” she replied as Jack walked off to his room, Emily closed the door and looked around her room, she sighed as she opened her suitcase and grabbed some fresh clothes as she made her way to the bathroom, turning on the taps until steam was pouring out of the room as Emily climbed in.

It didn’t take a genius to realise that the boys were her she though as she heard loud banging coming from the hallway,

“damm you Frank, no more skittles for you” she muttered as a loud bang made her jump in the shower,

then Emily heard her door open as she stood there naked, she looked at her towel and wished she had got out when she heard the banging, she looked at her bathroom door handle, just waiting to see if the person would come in or not, her eyes not taking their focus away from that small unlocked handle, its gold sparkle taunting her as she turned off the shower quickly, opened the glass shower door and just as she was about to grab her towel the handle move slowly, Emily grabbed the white towel saving herself just before it flew open.

Mikey smiled as he saw Emily standing in the bathroom in only a white towel and the look on her face was either, frightened or angry

“Sorry Emily” he said softly,
Emily looked at him her eyes smiling as she started to giggle
“Some things never change do they Mikey” she giggled,
Mikey laughed back,
“I will let you get dressed and then we shall talk” he said,
Emily nodded as Mikey slowly closed the door as Emily quickly dried herself off and put on some tight jeans and a jumper, she pulled her hair up and made her way out to the main room, Mikey giggled a little as he saw her, he quickly ran up and hugged her

“I have missed you so much” he said as he held her close,
Emily felt her eyes welling up as she held Mikey and felt him holding her tightly, Mikey slowly pulled back as Emily wiped a few tears off her cheeks.

“So what’s going on?” she asked him as Emily sat down on the bed, Mikey looked at her and sighed
“Gerard isn’t really the Gerard we all know and love, he misses you Emily, you two were so close before all this happened” he said, Emily couldn’t help but cry as she shook her head, Mikey pulled her into his arms and hugged her tightly

“But what I am meant to do” she said in between sobs, Mikey pulled her away and looked at her in the eye’s
“You always know what to do, Gerard always told me you always helped him no matter what” he said, Emily shook her head as she heard a small knock on the door, Mikey looked up and stood as he slowly made his way to the door, Mikey took one last look at Emily as he opened the door.
Gerard stared blankly in the door way, his eyes bore down on Mikey

“What the fuck is going on here” he spat, Mikey looked at him shocked
“Gerard??” called Emily as she stood up, her eyes on the doorway, Gerard walked past Mikey and stopped when he saw her, those lips, those eyes and her hair, he opened his mouth and stared
“Gerard” she said again as he jumped a little and focused on her
“Emily” he said so softly that it was more of a whisper.

“Well I am going to go” said Mikey which made them both jump, Gerard turned around and nodded as Mikey quietly left them together. Emily took a step closer to Gerard which made him quickly turn back to Emily
“What are you doing here?” he said with a questioning look, Emily gently took another step closer to him, she made sure she kept looking in his eyes
“I’m here for you” she said softly, Gerard took a deep breath his mind slowly filling up with anger
“Why would you do that? You left me years ago to run off and follow your dreams” he spat, Emily jumped as she felt his anger go through her body

“I didn’t leave you, you guys went off to tour and become what you all wanted to be” she replied, Gerard clenched his hands into fists and breathed out heavily as Emily gently took one of his hands which Gerard slowly flinched and slowly calmed down
“Gerard” she said softly, as she slowly pulled him closer to her
“I am here now, it’s okay I am here” she said, Gerard closed his eyes as he felt his tears slowly fall down his cheeks.

At this moment Gerard knew he had one last chance, a chance to tell her how he really felt.
