Emily woke up to Gerard’s eyes staring at her; she looked around the room and felt sick, covering her mouth she jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom, Gerard sat up

“You okay Emily?” he asked as he heard the tap running

“Yeah Gerard, Just a flu” she replied as she walked out, Gerard sighed

“It’s my entire fault” he said, Emily shook her head

“How can it be your fault that I am unwell” she replied, Gerard shrugged

“I have put you under a lot of stress, I am really sorry” he said, Emily shook her head as she pulled on some jeans

“Don’t worry about it, I am okay now” she replied, Gerard nodded

“I meant what I said last night, I do really love you Emily” he said softly, Emily froze and turned around to him

“Why are you saying this now?” she asked, Gerard frowned

“Because I do love you and if I ever lost you I would lose me” he replied, Emily slipped on her shirt and smiled

“Let’s go home, I want to see Zach” she said, Gerard smiled and nodded as he quickly dressed and helped Emily pack

“If it takes me the rest of my life for you to see that I love you, then that’s what is going to happen” he said as they drove down the highway, Emily nodded

“I bet he missed us so much” said Emily as they pulled up at Mikey’s house, Gerard couldn’t help but smile as he saw Emily smile, A smile that meant a thousand reasons, A smile that showed love and happiness, Gerard got out of the car as they made their way to the door, Emily knocked softly, they heard footsteps, Mikey smiled when he saw them

“Well hello sister in law” he said and hugged Emily, Emily smiled as they walked through

“Where is Zach?” she asked, Mikey smiled as Zach and Alicia came walking in, Zach giggled as he ran to his mother and hugged her tightly

“Mummy I have missed you so much” he said as Emily kissed his head, Zach looked up and jumped on Gerard who laughed as he hugged his son, Emily smiled as Zach gently touched the ring on Gerard’s finger

“Do you like it?”Asked Gerard, Zach smiled and nodded as he hugged his father one last time.

“We better get going Emily is not well” said Gerard, Mikey nodded as he hugged Zach again

“Take care Emily and get well” he said as they walked out, Gerard picked up Zach and placed him in his car seat as Emily climbed in

Emily looked out the window as they made their way home; Gerard tapped his fingers to the music playing in the background

“When do you guys start recording?” she asked, Gerard jumped by the sound of her voice

“Next week” he replied, Emily nodded as Gerard pressed the code in his remote as the gates opened, Emily took a deep breath as the car slowly stopped

“Then the tour starts right?” she asked as Gerard picked up Zach, Gerard looked to her and nodded

“It’s six months around the world” he said as Emily opened the door, Gerard walked in Zach and went up to the his room placing him on the ground so he could play, Gerard smiled as Emily walked past the room, her eyes looking tired, Gerard followed her and found Emily sitting on the bed

“Everything okay?” he asked, Emily looked up and smiled

“Of course” she replied as she slid off her shirt

“I am going to go and shower” she said standing up, Gerard smiled

“Sounds like a good idea, let me join you” he said, Emily nodded as they walked into the bathroom.

“Do you love me too Emily?” he asked as Gerard washed her back, Emily froze as Gerard turned around

“I am sorry Gerard” she said as tears fell down her cheeks, Gerard frowned

“Don’t be, one day you might and I am happy with that, I know I hurt you but I hope one day that
will change” he said as he gently cupped his hands on her breasts, Emily flinched which made Gerard look at her

“You okay?” he asked, Emily nodded as she looked at him

“Yeah I am fine, I need to get out and check on Zach” she replied as she quickly opened the door and walked out, she quickly put on some jeans and a top, she sighed as she opened the door again and saw Gerard slowly singing as he washed his hair

“I am just going to pop out for a while, thought I would get a few groceries” she said, Gerard looked up and nodded

“Let Zach play, I will be out in a minute” he said, Emily nodded as she closed the door and rushed to her car.
