Gerard took Emily’s hand as they stood before the minister; she looked at Gerard and smiled softly

“Do you take this man, to love, honour and cherish for the rest of your life?” asked the minster, Emily nodded

“I do” she said softly, Gerard squeezed her hand as the minister smiled

“Do you Gerard take this women to love, honour and cherish for the rest of your life?” he asked, Gerard smiled

“I do” he said proudly, Gerard slipped a ring on Emily’s finger, Emily repeating with Gerard’s ring

“I now pronounce you man and wife; you may kiss your bride” the minister said, Gerard grinned as he pulled Emily close and kissed her lips, passion flowing as he made the kiss deeper, Emily slowly pushed Gerard away, the minister smirked

“Don’t worry, there is always the wedding night” he said softly as he led them to the desk, Gerard signed his name and handed Emily the pen, her hand shook as she signed her life away

“Well Mrs Way, its official” he said as the minster gave them their marriage certificate, Gerard slid his hand into Emily’s and walked her out of the office.

“We better go and get Zach” said Emily, Gerard shook his head

“Mikey has him for the night, he will be fine” he said, Emily froze

“No, I haven’t spent a night without him” she replied, Gerard stopped walked and looked at her

“He will be fine, plus mum is going to be there as well” he said as he pulled her and walked to his car

“But Gerard” she said, Gerard sighed

“It is one night, he will be fine, you can call him when we get there” he said, Emily nodded as she frowned as she climbed into the car; Gerard started the engine and drove off.

When they arrived at the hotel, Gerard smiled

“I thought maybe we could have a nice dinner, relax and enjoy the rest of our special day” he said as Emily picked up her bag and walked through the foyer as Gerard kept his hand firmly on Emily’s

“Mr and Mrs Way” said Gerard the service desk, the man nodded as he typed on his computer

“Yes we have you booked here for the night” he said as he printed off a document and handed it
to Gerard, he signed the form as the man gave him the key

“Enjoy your stay” he said, Gerard smirked as they walked to the elevator, Gerard pushed Emily against the wall and kissed her neck softly, Emily sighed as Gerard’s hands slowly curved up her waist

“All these years and I have finally got what I wanted” he whispered, Emily froze

“What do you mean?” she asked, Gerard curved a smile as he softly kissed her neck

“When you left me, I never glanced or touched another women” he said as his breath slowly touched her ear, Emily shivered

“No one” she replied, Gerard turned Emily and faced her

“No one” he whispered as he claimed her mouth, Emily moaned against his lips and then jumped when the door opened, Gerard smiled as they walked to their room, Emily put her bag on the ground as Gerard pulled her to the bed, she looked at him as Gerard gently unzipped her dress and kissed her shoulder a moan escaping from her lips as he gently bit down

“I have never wanted someone as much as I want you” he said roughly as he unclasped her bra, Emily slowly slid his shirt off as she kissed his neck, sucking slowly, Gerard gasped as he grabbed her hips and pushed them on hers

“Sounds good, but I am going to go and grab a shower” she said, Gerard smiled more as he jumped up out of bed, he picked up Emily and walked her to the shower naked, Emily giggled as he placed her down on the bath’s edge and turned on the bath, he slowly added some bubble bath and then walked out of the room, Emily smiled and slowly slid into the bath, she shut her eyes and enjoy the sensation of water pouring over her legs, Gerard walked back in and smiled, her body laying down as the water slowly covered her breasts and the smell of vanilla floating through the room, He gently stroked her cheek which Emily opened her eye’s

“I just ordered some dinner, we have a while until it arrives” he said as Emily sat up and allowed Gerard to sit behind her, Gerard lent in and kissed her shoulder

“I never thought I would be married by now” he said, Emily took a deep breath as Gerard gently massaged her shoulders

“We are one big happy family” he whispered, Emily sat up and turned around

“You think that because we are married and that we have a child together we are happy?” she asked, Gerard smiled

“Emily we have known each other since we were little, of course we are happy, I know it’s not what you wanted and that you wanted to be in love with someone, but I know we will both be very happy after a while” he said, Emily felt a tear slip down her cheek as she climbed out of the bath tub and grabbed a towel

“I can’t do this” she said, Gerard looked at her

“Do what?” he said standing up, Emily walked out of the bathroom and picked up her dress, sliding it on and grabbed her bag

“Be with you” she said tears streaming down her cheeks, Gerard grabbed her shoulders and looked deeply into her eyes

“Yes you can and we already are, we are married” he said, Emily went pale and started to shake, her hands covering her mouth as she pushed Gerard away and ran to the bathroom, she fell to her knees and vomited, Gerard walked in and gently knelt beside her gently rubbing her back as Emily threw up

“I am so sorry” said Gerard as Emily sat up; she looked pale and slightly sweaty and her body trembled, Gerard slowly picked her up and carried Emily to the bed

“Rest” he whispered as he tucked Emily into bed, Emily nodded as she closed her eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep, Gerard looked around the room, he picked up a cigarette and his phone and walked out on the balcony , dialled a number and lit his cigarette

“Hey Mikey” he said as he took a drag

“Emily is not well, I don’t know what to do” he said rather concerned

“I am sure it is just a virus” said Mikey, Gerard frowned

“I don’t want her unwell, it makes me feel terrible, I haven’t been what you would say the best friend for her” he said, Mikey sighed

“Gerard you need to tell her the truth, tell her you love her and that you have wanted to be
there with her since you were sixteen” he said, Gerard stiffened

“I don’t think it will change anything right now, she still hates me” he replied

“Do you love Emily though?” asked Mikey, Gerard smiled as he turned and looked at Emily asleep

“With all of my heart” he replied, Mikey smiled

“Then be a man and tell her” he said, Gerard took another drag

“Do you really think so?” He asked, Mikey sighed

“If I was there Gee, I would punch you already, you keeping this away from her is part of the problem” he said

“I just don’t want to get hurt by Emily, I mean without her I would be lost” he said softly, Mikey frowned

“Thanks Mikey for listening” he said and hung up, Gerard closed the balcony doors and slid into bed, he pulled Emily close to him and kissed her forehead

“I love you” he said softly, Emily slowly opened her eyes

“What did you say?” she asked, Gerard smiled and kissed her cheek

“I said, Emily I love you” he whispered, Emily closed her eyes

“This is not funny” she replied, Gerard squeezed her tightly

“It’s not funny at all, I really do love you” he said, Emily reopened her eyes and smiled

“Get some sleep” she said softly, Gerard smiled and gently kissed her lips once and closed his eyes slowly falling asleep.
