Eventually Frerard. Things aren’t like they were nine years ago. They never will be like that again. Gerard will never have the chances he did back then. He’ll never have those same options.

Let me catch you up to speed...
No one should miss the past. No one’s life should suck that bad. Sure an occasional, Oh that was a fun time. or something of the sort. But wishing, praying, hoping that you could go back in time—if only for a second—is something that no one should ever have to experience.
But that’s how Gerard felt. He missed the past so fucking bad. It takes all he can do every single day not to just break down and cry. Cry for everything he’ll never have again. Cry for every moment he’ll never experience again. Just cry.
Sure he couldn’t go back in time—that’s impossible. But what was to stop him from starting the past… over? What was stopping him from more or less recreating nearly everything? Nothing was stopping him from starting over right where he stood. It was his life. He should be able to make whatever he wanted of it. And he decided, then and there, that he would.
But he knows that he won’t. He can’t. People depend on him. He has a family. He can’t just do what he wants to anymore. Not that he ever did.

I'm posting the first half of the first chapter tonight. It starts a little slow, but believe me, it will get a lot better (and steamier!).
