“Another pill”, he thinks to himself, “just one more that will do it, come on you’ve ruined it, just do it” he tips out another pill and places it in his shakey pale hand and swallows the fate that it contains,
“Gerard” it calls him pulling him into the clutches of unconsciousness, letting it creep slowly over his still body, death lapping at his feet but not enough to drag him under just enough to let unconsciousness hold onto him.
“Gerard!” it calls again this time in the faint voice of the boy he loves.
